What I've been loving throughout April

April seems to have gone quite slow and really relaxed. Most months there are specific events or
occasions that have happened, but this month there's been nothing. This month I've read so much and
can't wait to read a bunch more in over the next few months. I can't believe that next month is May
and I'm finally going on holiday. Another month gone and Summer is coming round quickly! I didn't
think there was many favourites this month, but wasn't until I wrote this post that I realised
everything featured was all new!

Every time my shampoo and conditioner runs out, I always change it up. I heard that using the same
hair products can start doing the opposite as your hair gets used to them. This month I've been using
the  Herbal Essences dazzling shampoo & conditioner, because my mom picked it up randomly. I
have never used a shampoo or conditioner that the scent sticks in my hair and smells incredible. This
smells like apples and leaves my hair looking shiny until the next wash. Although I change up my
hair products, this is a set that I'll be picking up in the future.

This month I've rediscovered my love for the Vaseline spray moisturiser. I've used this for years, and
completely forgot about it until a few weeks ago. The reason I love this so much is because it's the
most hydrating lotion I've found, it's not sticky and it sinks in immediately. There is truly no other
body lotion that I have tried that works as well as this!

A few months ago I picked up the Skyn Iceland plumping lip gel masks from M&S in one of their
sales. I was intrigued as I've only ever tried one lip mask before and I didn't like them. They come in
a pack of 4 and I've used them all this month. The best part of these is that they stick to your lips
rather than sit on them, which means that your skin and lips absorbs more moisture and leaves them
feeling hydrated, soft and refreshed all day long.

For my birthday last month, my boyfriend bought me the Colourpop x Zoella collection and I've been
loving the brunch date eyeshadow palette. I haven't had much use out of the bright cobalt blue shade,
however had a lot of use out of the rest as they're more natural and everyday shades. I love how easy
this palette is to use, create a variety of different looks and the insane pigmentation of the
eyeshadows. I'm looking forward to experimenting more with the blue. Read my full review here.

One of my resolutions for this year was to read more. I say this every year, but was determined to
do it this year. So far I've read 6 books and 4 of those have been this month. My favourite book
I've read this year so far, and this month is Feminists don't wear pink and other lies - Scarlett Curtis.
I bought this last year when it was released, and read a few extracts from but finally finished it this
month. It's all about feminism and empowering women, whilst being written by empowering women.
Since reading this I have felt more inspired to do more good throughout my life and if I only
recommend 1 book to you this year, it would 100% be this one.
