January favourites

After what feels like months, January is finally over. Although this has been a good and very
productive month I feel like it should be about April time now, rather than the beginning of
February. I don't know why January always feels longer than others, maybe it's because we're
all on such a high after Christmas, plus it feels like forever since the last payday. Nevertheless I
feel wanted to kick of the new year and my first favourites post of 2019, with some new products
that I've been loving throughout January.

Jeffree Star beauty killer palette
Although this palette is the oldest from the Jeffree Star Cosmetics line and one of the first products he
created, it is such a staple and iconic piece of makeup to have. Each shade is so unique and unlike
any other shadow I have, which describes Jeffree and his brand perfectly. The entire palette is super
smooth and creamy, all whilst being incredibly pigmented. For January I've been experimenting with
this by using it on the lower lash line, but I'm looking forward to seeing what bold, fun and creative
looks that I can create using these shades. Full review here.

Despite having dry skin, I still like to powder my face as my makeup does still tend to move about
throughout the day. Usually I set my face with a translucent powder as it's the easiest and doesn't alter
the colour of my base. However I picked up this powder about a month ago and have been loving
using it to set my makeup with a beauty sponge. It adds the smallest amount of colour and coverage
to the face, so it's not cakey, whilst also making your makeup last all day and look amazing!

For the past few months I've been obsessed with anything and everything related to Day Designer.
Whether that be their website, Instagram, watching reviews or looking how people use and plan
with theirs; you name it I've seen it. I did ask for this for Christmas, but since it was so expensive
I purchased it myself around Boxing Day. This did take out 3 weeks to arrive, so I had to go a few
weeks into January without a planner (never again), but since then I've bene obsessed. I've never
found a single product or item I've loved as much as I do this. I can't wait continue using this for
2019 and see what it looks like at the end of the year.Full review here.

If you have been a long time reader, or know me personally then you will know how much I love face
masks. I have a ridiculous amount of them, too many to even use. I was lucky enough to work with
Wilko this month, and for that blog post I purchased this peel off mask. I've been using 7th Heaven
for years, but have been amazed at how well this charcoal peel off mask has worked to remove the
dirt and blackheads out of my pores. I've even managed to get my mom to love using this as well. It
has taken me so long to find a good peel of mask but I've finally found one! See how I use this here.

BH Cosmetics naturally flawless foundation
I picked this foundation up back in June, and haven't got around to using it until this month (awful I
know). I decided to use it when I was in a bit of a rush one morning for work, and wash shocked at
how flawless it made my skin look but still whilst looking natural and like my skin. I've never used a
foundation like this before. I was shocked at first at how thick this was, but a little goes a long way on
the face. Since that first time using it, I've been hooked and can't wait to use it more next month.

What are you favourites for January?
