The perfect Valentine's Day makeup

Valentines is a mixed time of year for a lot of people. It's filled with love and happiness for some,
bitterness for others and for the rest it's just another day. For me it's just another day. Me and my
boyfriend only buy each other cards, not presents and we tend to go out for a meal or do something
on the weekend. Other than that it's like no other day. I do however like to do more pink toned
makeup because, no matter what the occasion, holiday or season I love any excuse to do different
makeup and create more colourful looks that I wouldn't usually.

BASE

No matter what time of year I always love a glossy and dewy look. To achieve this I'm really
liking using the Bourjois CC cream, because it's also full coverage but not heavy on the skin. I
follow up with concealer and set my under-eye area in place with the Ben Nye translucent powder.
Recently I picked up the ELF dewy setting mist to make my makeup last all day and night long.

CHEEKS

A bronzed look and soft rose pink on the cheeks is what I'm loving at the minute. I've discovered
a new highlighter which I'm obsessed with at the moment, and I can't believe it's only from
Primark. The bronzer, pink blush and champagne highlight all works together to create a glowy
and flawless valentines day look that can transition you from day to night

EYES

Ever since I got the Shaaanxo remix palette I've been hooked. I love the neutral shades, as well
as the pops of colour. Just after Christmas I picked up a set of the Stila shimmer and glow liquid
eyeshadow, and to add a little something extra and definition to the centre of the lid I use the
shade Kitten. Followed by a defined and sharp brow and soft fluttery lashes.

LIPS

To finish of this look I apply a soft pink neutral lipstick and a plumping sheer berry gloss. Overall
the look is full coverage and glowy, whilst also being soft and fluttery as well as slightly pink.
