A Valentines night in

In the spirit of Valentines Day this week, I wanted to share some inspiration and ideas on what to do
if you happen to be spending it alone. Whether that be because you are single or because you can't
see you significant other. Me and my boyfriend aren't a big fan of celebrating Valentine's Day, so we
just get each other a card and go away for the weekend (this year we're going to Norwich). This year
I'm spending the day at a training event for work followed by a quiet evening alone, due to Liam
being at work. Despite of all of this I wanted to pamper myself and have a me, myself and I evening.

The first thing I swear by getting out and doing is binge watching a bunch of films. I'm a sucker for
a rom-com so this year I'm going to be watching; Mean Girls, Sex and the City, The Devil Wears
Prada and legally blonde. Super girly, funny and romantic. However a lot of people I know prefer to
watch horrors and thrillers over rom-coms, so as long as it makes you happy I definitely recommend
watching a film or 4 this Valentines Day!

Any excuse and chance I have to pamper myself, I will. Face masks, nail polish, hair treatments; you
name it, I'll do it. Having a deep cleanse and using a peel of face mask not only helps your skin feel
clean and refreshed but it can also make yourself feel so much more confident and give you that boost
you didn't know you needed. I also like to make sure that I'm taking care of my hair and body as well
as my skin with a deep conditioner and body moisturiser to give me that nourishment I tend to lack.

Whilst pampering myself I like to run a hot, deep bath filled with bubbles and bath bombs. I'm
really enjoying the Soap and Glory fizz-a-ball bath bombs and My Mood bath bolts. They smell
incredible, but also give you the perfect amount of bubbles to soak and relax in.

If you're not a fan of films or prefer to do something a little bit different this year, why not try
playing a game on the Play Station of Xbox, maybe listening to a bit of music. Whatever you
love and makes you happy on a day focused and built around love is all that matters.

The most important thing for any night in is snacks! You can choose to go healthy with a fruit
salad, or a vegan option. However I love chocolate and popcorn. Since all of the Easter chocolate
and sweets are out in the supermarkets, I'm stocking up on mini eggs. But I am still partial to a
pack of biscuits and some sweet low calorie popcorn!

What are you doing this Valentines Day?
Let me know in a comment down below.

xoxo
