Chasing the sun

Can we all just take a moment of silence to appreciate how incredible Tanya Burr's
recent makeup collections have been! Ok, now we've sat and prayed to the beauty gods lets
talk about the recent collection from Tanya Burr. Despite releasing her neutral ambience
collection less than a month ago, Tanya released another collection entitled; Chasing the sun,
which contained 3 new cheek illuminators, 3 new lip balms and 2 new contour sticks.

I have the majority of Tanya's makeup range, despite some of her lip glosses and nail polishes.
Not only do I buy her products and collections to review, but also because I am obsessed.
They are beautifully created for such an affordable price. I truly can't recommend them enough.

The cheek illuminators are available in 3 different shades; Warm bronze, Champagne sorbet
and peonies please for £7.49 each. They have a simple translucent packaging with a warm gold outline, and the product itself has a faint marble vein running throughout it as well as being
slightly domed giving it the appearance of it being baked.

When I saw the collection originally I didn't know what to expect from the illuminators,
as these were brand new to the entire range. However when these arrived and I swatched them
for the first time, I was shocked to find them so smooth and velvety whilst being true to colour.
The main thing I love about these is that they are super buildable and can be used over top of
other products, as eye shadows and even all over the body.

I really hope she brings these out in more colours!

Tanya has previously released 3 cream cheek illuminators, and decided to add onto that by
releasing 2 cream contour sticks in the shades; light/medium and medium/dark that are £6.99
each. Personally I have never been a fan of cream products as they don't sit well on top of other
products, which I think is mainly because I have normal to dry skin.

These have the same creamy consistency of the cheek illuminators which makes them
easy to blend. Both shades suit my skin tone, and can be built up easily for a more dramatic
look. These would definetly suit light-medium skin tones, but if you have a darker complexion
then I wouldn't recommend them due to the shade range.

Also new to Tanya's range are 3 tinted lip balms, in the shades; blackberry coulis, strawberry
milkshake and sweet lime pie, available for £4.99. Not only do these smell incredible but they also give of a beautiful tint that isn't as pigmented as a lipstick but isn't as sheer as a regular lip balm.
Blackberry coulis is a light berry toned shade. Strawberry milkshake is the perfect
your lips but better shade. Sweet lime pie is a sheer balm despite being green in the tin.

All of these products can be found at Feelunique or Superdrug.

Have any of you guys tried the Chasing the sun
collection? Let me know in a comment below.
