Everyday Staples

There are certain things in life that we are inevitably drawn too. The days that we gravitate towards our
favourite things, that make us feel put together. The everyday staples. I am someone who benefits from a
routine and sticking to a plan. Although I would love to be a spontaneous person who lives in the moment,
I can't do that. With routine, comes habit and with habit comes products I stick to and make me feel good
about myself. There are a lot of blog posts showing other peoples everyday staples, and since I am a huge
creature of habit I wanted to share mine with you, including makeup, hair, perfume and jewellery.

Whenever I do my makeup I have to use the ELF blemish fighting putty primer otherwise my makeup
doesn't feel right and I feel like I've missed a step in my routine. I've raved about this primer for months
now, but for good reason. This contains 1.8% salicylic acid to prevent future breakouts, whilst smoothing
out and blemishes and pores without clogging the skin. This applies smoothly and evenly to the skin,
making it the perfect canvas for your foundation and concealer, whilst keeping your makeup refreshed and
looking flawless all day long.

Whether I have washed my hair that day or a week ago, I cannot go a day without using my batiste dry
shampoo. I find that having blonde hair means that my hair can look greasy even though I've just washed
it. This is my favourite dry shampoo to use as you can actually see it absorbing any excess oil and leaving
my hair looking fresh again whilst adding a light refreshing scent to it. This makes such a difference to my
hair and adds that extra texture that my hair needs for styling. I don't know where I'd be without this.

Out of every perfume I have ever tried the Ted Baker Mia perfume is by far my favourite. I have gone
through 3 bottles and am about to purchase a fourth. This is a soft feminine scent with notes of lemon,
blackcurrant and raspberry with a base of patchouli and golden amber. Every single time I wear this I get
complimented and asked what I'm wearing, as it's such a beautiful scent.

I've found over the last few years I've gone through phases of wearing jewellery but after I discovered
Jude boutique I couldn't help but pick up some bits. I have been living in their valencia necklace and
simplicity and trevi ring. They are classic and timeless pieces that wont be going out of style anytime
soon, but aren't boring and basic. I love how they're easy to style with any outfits and are really
affordable. I am definitely going to be purchasing some more jewellery from them soon!

  4. I definitely have some everyday staples - I always use the same cleanser to remove my makeup and I've worn the same perfume since I was about 18 so I'm definitely a creature of habit!
