My Lips But Better

Sometimes after we've done our makeup we either don't want to wear a bold vibrant colour on our lips, and we just want the perfect "my lips but better" shade. I dug through all of my lip products and lipsticks and managed to find 2 lipsticks and a lip balm that are my perfect "my lips but better" shade.

A lot of the time I don't want to wear lipstick either because I don't feel like it, or sometimes I just don't like the feel of it. Because of this I often like to just wear a lipbalm as it gives moisture and a hint of colour to the lip. My favourites are the Maybelline baby lips and out of all of them my favourite is in the flavour/colour melon mania. It is the perfect shade if you want to add a more pinky rose shade, without being too intense.

If you've never bought a lipstick from MAC and are wanting to purchase one but don't have any idea on what you want other than a neutral shade, creme cup is the one for you. It is the perfect light to medium toned pink for everyday wear. This can be worn more naturally and sheer with one layer or built up with multiple coats for a more intense and pigmented look, whilst still being natural for an everyday look.

The lipstick that is the perfect "my lips but better" and is genuinely that, is a mirror shine lipstick from Seventeen cosmetics in the shade beehive. If you have been reading blogs or watching Youtube videos for a long time, then you will have probably heard of this lipstick before as it was an old favourite that everybody loved. Because it is a mirror shine it has the perfect glossy sheen to it, which gives a beautiful look to the lips and enhances your natural lips. This particular shade has an orange/pink undertone which brings out the colour of your natural lips, and makes them look even better than before!
