5 years of blogging

Even writing the title for this post, seems absolutely crazy. I can't believe that 5 years I started 

another blog and I've kept to it. I started writing about makeup and half a decade later, I'm still doing 

the same. Starting this blog has simply changed my life. I look back at the things I was doing 5 years 

ago and honestly it looks like a lot of YouTube videos and TV. I can't imagine what I would be doing 

now if it wasn't for this. I've started becoming more productive, I enjoy taking photos, I love writing 

even more than before and I love having a chance to express my truest self.

I've learnt so many things over these past 5 years. I never even dreamt of working with brands that I 

now have, going to events or making friends online with the same interests as me. For the past 5 

years I've posted 3 times a week (with the exception) on the same days. I've stayed in a routine which 

has allowed me to grow my blog, ever so slowly! I have realised I'm more creative than I thought, as 

I create and write content 150 times a year. I've come up with ideas that I never dreamt of before.

I've received comments and messages from people who read my posts, when I thought nobody ever 

would. I was so scared of being judged for putting my life online and have never received a negative 

comment or word said about blogging. My family have grown to understand social media and the 

online network more than I ever thought. 

Each day that goes by I become more thankful for the support from everyone who takes the time to 

read my posts, comment and even like my posts over on Instagram. I have been given amazing 

chances that I never thought were possible and have gained a new type of confidence. 

These past 5 years wouldn't have been possible without you. Thank you for 

the first 5 years and heres to 5 more to come.
