Taking a break

 2023 has been a life changing year in so many ways. I started the year 5 months pregnant, miserable and 

unwell. I tried to carry on with life as normal as I could whilst preparing to give birth. 2 months before 

his due date Codey made his arrival, and since then everything else has been a blur. I had a traumatic birth 

experience. Spoke to people I never imagined. I've fell both in and out of love. I became a single mom. 

Battled with my mental health and came through the other end. Fell in and out of love with my hobbies. 

Came to terms with how my body looks and starts to focus on and love myself again.

In the mixed of the highs and lows that have been going on this year, my blogging has taken a slight hit. 

Instead of missing the odd upload there have been several chunks of time where I miss posting for a few 

weeks. Blogging has been a huge passion of mine for nearly 10 years and is something that has changed 

dramatically over the course of that as well as myself. It's something that I have struggled with finding my 

place in, but I won't giving up anytime soon. 

This year is obviously my sons first Christmas and I cannot wait. I'm definitely trying to make this as 

special as possible and relish in the present moments before they become memories. Unfortunately there is 

also a lot going on at the end of the year, going into the start of 2024 and is the reason I've decided to take 

a small break. I'm going to use that time to focus on the time with my son, and adjusting to a huge change 

in my life. That huge change does give me some alone time which I'm hoping to use to plan posts and get 

back into blogging and make it a big priority for 2024.

2024 is going to be bigger and better than this year and I am so excited for everything

 I have planned and to see what else it has in store for me and my family!
