My happy list

I had never heard of a happy list before, until I stumbled across Call Me Amy's post. I loved the idea of
writing down all the little things in life that are currently making you happy and putting a smile on your
face. It's so easy to get lost in the moment and only focus on the bigger things, but I truly believe it's the
little things that matter. We naturally remember bigger events such as going on holiday rather than being
happy because you finally got to order that pizza you've been waiting all week for!

I've been struggling a lot lately with my mental health again, and it's so easy for me to get caught up in
focusing on the negative. Something that I'm trying to get into the habit of, is finding at least 1 positive
from the day and something that put a smile on my face. When I came across Amy's post, I knew I had to
do my own version and force myself to focus on the good things in my life.

Going book shopping with Sophie

Golden syrup porridge

Having a routine

Hot bubble baths

Getting a new tattoo next month

  1. This is such a lovely idea! I think I'm going to follow suit too. I'm generally quite a positive person, but I think creating a happy list like this makes you appreciate the smaller things in life. PS. I also had golden syrup porridge this week and it was blooming glorious!
