Books I want to read in 2022

I'm manifesting that this is the year my reading mojo comes back and I fall in love with reading again. I
own over 400 books and have read only a small percentage of them. There are so many books that I want
to read and with buying more, that list is constantly growing. I don't want to set my expectations too high,
so my goal is to read 26 books. I currently should be on my second book of the year, however I'm yet to
start my first read. I am very much a mood reader, and don't like to stick to a tbr list, however I do have a
small list of books that I'm hoping to read this year

Ellingham Academy is a famous private school in Vermont, for the brightest thinkers, inventors and
artists, founded by Albert Ellingham. Shortly after it opened his wife and daughter were kidnapped
with the only clue being a mocking riddle listing methods of murder, signed with 'truly devious'.
True crime lover, Stevie Bell is set to begin her first year at the school and has an ambitious plan to
solve this case, that is when she gets a grip on the new school life and housemates. But soon
something strange starts happening. 'Truly Devious' makes a surprise return. The past has crawled
out of it's grave and now someone has gotten away with murder.

Five years ago schoolgirl Andie Bell was murdered by Sal Singh. The police and everyone in town
knows he did it. The case is closed. But having gown up in the same small town that was consumed
by the crime, Pippa Fitz-Amobi isn't so sure. She choses this case as the topic for her final project
and start to uncover secrets that someone in the town desperately wants to stay hidden. If the real
killer is still out there, how far will they go to keep Pippa from the truth?

Ashley and her friends are living their charmed lives, at the end of summer ready to spend time at
the beach rather than the classroom. Everything changes one afternoon when four police officers are
acquitted after beating a black man; Rodney King half to death. Suddenly Ashley's not just one of
the girls, she's one of the black kids. A violent protest in LA and the city burns, she tries to continue
a normal life even as her sister gets involved in the riots, even as the model black family facade
starts to crumble, even as her best friends help spread a rumour that could derail her classmate;
LaShawn Johnson. Ashley and the rest of LA are left to question who is us and who is them?

On September 5th Mateo and Rufus are given the news that they are going to die, today. They're total
strangers, but for different reasons, they're both looking at making a new friend on their final day. Through
the power of an app, they meet up for one last great adventure and to live a lifetime in a single day.

Everyone wants to be Tori. A straight talking author with a picture perfect relationship, inspiring millions
online. But Tori isn't being honest. Whilst everyone is getting engaged and having babies, Tori's boyfriend
will barely look at her, let along talk about marriage. When her best friend unexpectedly falls in love, Tori
is afraid of being left behind. She's made a career of out telling women how to live their best life, but is
she brave enough to admit it's not what she wants.

What book do you want to read most this year?

xoxo
