Tarte favourites - part 2 | Gifted

I've become obsessed with Tarte this year and have discovered so many amazing products that have 

become staples in my makeup routine. At the beginning of the year I shared my 6 Tarte favourites (read 

blog post here), and since I've had the pleasure of trying out more products from them I thought it was 

about time I do an updated post. This time round, however, I'm only sharing my top 4 favourites, but 4 

products that I recommend everybody goes out and tries for themselves. 

My all time favourite Tarte product (other than shape tape concealer) is the breezy cream bronzer*. I have 

raved about this in so many recent blog posts so it's obviously going to be featured in this post. I usually 

hate cream cheek products as they don't blend evenly, go on patchy and remove all of my base makeup. 

However this is the complete opposite. This applies smoothly and evenly on top of my foundation, 

without clinging to any dry patches as well as being the perfect shade for my fair complexion, so it doesn't 

make me look too orange or muddy. I also love how the satin finish this gives to the skin, which gives off 

a more natural appearance without having to set it with a powder product. 

Over the last few years I've become lazy with eyeshadow and often just want something quick and easy 

that adds a little definition. The quick stick waterproof shadow & liner* is perfect for that. This has a 

velvety smooth buildable shadow on one end with a comfort-glide gel pencil liner on the other end. I love 

how easy these are to use and how since they're waterproof they don't crease or transfer throughout the 

day. I've been loving using the shade rose gold lustre with the brown liner for that added shimmer.

When I do decide to wear eyeshadow I love sticking to neutrals and it's what I'm most comfortable with. 

As it is autumn I've been gravitating towards the tartelette toasted palette*. This contains 12 versatile 

warm toned matte and metallic shadows perfect for this time of year. The shadows have been arranged in 

rows for simple and easy looks that can be put together with no thought! I particularly love the second 

row, containing the warm toned deep browns.  

Something I hate is a dry matte lip. I find them really uncomfortable to wear and am constantly messing 

with them throughout the day. The maracujia juicy lips* are the complete opposite and perfect for me. 

These have a cushion comfort complex for an instant plump whilst smoothing and hydrating the lips as 

well as adding shine. I gravitate towards the clear shade, over the tints for a more natural look whilst still 

achieving the plump, hydrating and sheen they give!
