What I've been loving throughout the month of May

This month has been really quiet for me, which is pretty unusual. I've spent the entire month reading
and then I went on holiday with my parents and boyfriend to Gran Canaria (blog post coming later
this week). A big event that did happen this month, was my nan got her first tattoo, which is beyond
incredible and I'm glad to have been a part of that. I feel like this month I've scraped together my
favourites, but now looking at them all, I definitely love them.

After getting my hair done in March and it not turning out the best, and being a lot more brassy than
what I'd have liked, my mom actually recommend using the Pro.Voke touch of silver shampoo and
conditioner. I didn't notice a difference at first but after 2 weeks of using this, the brassiness has toned
down and become less harsh, all whilst making my hair feel nourished, hydrated and clean.

I saw that Rimmel recently rebranded and relaunched their wake me up collection and picked it up to
try out and share with you all (blog post here), but it made me realise how much I love the Rimmel
lasting radiance concealer. This has the same consistency as the wake me up, which is what made me
love this more. It's hydrating for your skin and gives the appearance of having a full nights sleep.

When it came to packing and bringing makeup on for my holiday, I decide to pack the Maybelline
city bronze. I used this a few times in my makeup routine, but I really fell in love with using this on
holiday. It's 98% matte with the micro shimmer running throughout which helps to achieve that
bronze goddess and sun kissed look. Trying to look the closest to JLO as possible.

For months now I've been loving and using the Dr Paw Paw multi purpose balm. When it came to
choosing this months favourites I was shocked that I hadn't mentioned this in a favourites post as it's
incredible. It is a multipurpose balm that can be used on your cuticles, sun burn and even on your
hair. I am yet to try this for other things, as I love it for my lips so much. This is hands down the most
hydrating, thick and soft balm that I've ever used on my lips that don't irritate them and actually help
replenish and recover my lips when they are their driest.

This month I have definitely got the most amount of reading done, in a long time. I've read a lot of
poetry books on the kindle app and also listening to books through audible and it's made me fall more
in love with reading. I haven't got a specific book that I've been loving this month, because there are
so many, but my I wanted to include reading in general. So many people say they'll read more but
never do, and I was one of them, but reading has helped me so much and it's started to become
something I love rather than it feeling like a chore. I really wish more people would pick up a book.

  3. I used to use the Touch of Silver shampoo and conditioner religiously until I found my HG purple shampoo and conditioner duo. I love that they're so affordabl and they've always worked well at getting rid of the brassy tones in my blonde balayage hair x
