Turning 20 - my birthday makeup

This marks one of my last posts being in my teens. As of Sunday I'm starting my 20's. I've always
enjoyed my birthday, so I'm very much looking forward to this weekend. I do wonder how my life is
going to be. Am I going to get married, have children or buy a house all whilst being in my 20's.
Since I've shared my birthday makeup look with you all for many years, I wanted to keep in tradition
and do the same for you this year. Unfortunately this look is nothing special, but I wanted to keep it
quite soft and rosy toned this year, but still full glam with a blinding highlight like normal!

BASE

Since it is my birthday and it's another excuse to go full glam, even though I don't need an excuse,
I wanted my base to be super full coverage and flawless. I use a pore filling primer to give me a
smooth finish but also used a primer oil to add moisture back into my skin. I used the new Maybelline
foundation since it's full coverage but light weight and the new Loreal concealer for brightening up
my under eye area. I love to look glowy and dewy so I used the ELF coconut dewy setting mist.

CHEEKS

My favourite look to wear on my cheeks is super bronzy with a soft pink blush and a blinding
highlight. To achieve that I sued the Bourjois bronzer and the Lottie London blush, as I wanted
something that would add definition yet still be soft. To top it off I used the Primark beauty
highlighter in the shade brunch club, as it is super intense and adds that extra glow we all need.

EYES

I often go for bold eye looks on special occasions, however since I kept the cheeks soft and rosy
I wanted to make the eyes match. I used the aphrodisiac palette from Urban Decay and the Lottie
London eye foil in savage on the centre of the lid for an extra pop of shimmer. I stuck to my
regular brow products to make sure they were defined and sharp whilst framing the face.

LIPS

Since the whole look is soft and rosy I kept the lips in theme too. Firstly I lined my lips just to
make them more defined and bigger. I picked my favourite nude lipstick shade (Sleek, barely
there) and added a nude plumping gloss from Soap and Glory to give my lips some more shine.

What makeup look are you wearing this weekend?
Let me know in a comment below.
