Favourite Autumn eyeshadow

Autumn is definitely my favourite time of the year, especially when it comes to makeup. You get to wear more warm tones, golds and coppers and can wear glitter any time of the day without being considered too glam! I love to wear neutrals year round but during the Autumn, more shimmers and golds start to creep into my everyday makeup routine. Although I love experimenting with makeup this time of year, I do tend to stick to the same colour palette.

The first thing I do is apply a primer, or in my case a Maybelline colour tattoo in the shade; creamy beige. I like to use this as it gives a blank surface to your eye lids without having to use a super wet concealer, but it also works as a great base for applying eye shadow on top of.

Lately I have been loving to take the shade buttercup from the Shaaanxo x BH Cosmetics palette
and working into my crease as the perfect transition shade, due to its yellow undertone. I then like
to mix the shade buttercup and terracotta together, from the same palette and work that into my
crease on a denser brush for a more defined look.

For my overall base shade I have really enjoyed using the shade; holy grail from the same
Shaaanxo palette and using that all over my lid. This is a light-medium toned pink which gives
adds a touch of softness to the eye, but also drama when paired with the terracotta shade.

Although it is Autumn I still like to look as glowy as possible, and to achieve this I use the MUA single eyeshadow in the shade oyster. I like to use this in my inner corner and also on my brow bone to act as a highlight and also to give the appearance that I'm more awake. I also like to add a small amount of this to the centre of my eye lid to make my eyes look wider and much more open.

What is your go to eye shadow look for Autumn?
