Perfect pink lipsticks

Despite it being Autumn, nearly Winter, my go to lipstick shades are still pinks. Don't get me wrong I have a lot of reds, purples and dark shades for this time of year but I never wear them. As pink is my favourite colour in general, but is my go to shade when it comes to makeup I wanted to share the perfect pink lipsticks for this time of year but also for all year. Talk about my comfort zone shade!

L'Oreal is most known for their high quality products, including their lipsticks. They have a wide range of colours to choose from, as well as different formulas and collaborations with celebrities and other brands. One of my favourite lipsticks from L'Oreal is the colour riche lipstick nude celebrity collaboration with none other than, J'Lo. This lipstick has a light creamy texture which helps to build up to the pigmentation that you desire whilst being super moisturising and easy to wear.

Ever since Kylie Jenner released her lip kits other brands have started to release their own take on the highly raved upon lip kits. Personally I would much rather buy and wear a lipstick than a liquid lipstick, mainly due to convenience. I picked up one from Bourjois in the shade; don't pink of it, as it looked like it would be a beautiful shade to wear this time of year. In the lip kit you get a rouge velvet edition matte liquid lipstick and a contour edition lip liner. The lip liner effortlessly adds shape and definition to your lips whilst the liquid lipstick glides on smoothly to feel comfortable on your lips all day with the same colour intensity throughout.

When I heard that L'Oreal and Balmain were collaborating together to create a range of lipsticks together I knew that I would have to check them out and possibly buy a few myself. I don't have the money to be able to afford a lot of high end makeup, which is why I was extra excited to see such a high end brand such as Balmain collaborating with a high street brand. There are a lot of shades that I wouldn't wear such as; blues, purples, vivid browns and even a shimmery khaki. I decided that I was still going to stick to the nudes and pinks so I picked up the shade confession. This is the perfect pink shade that suits every skin tone and looks beautiful on everyone.

Kate Moss has been collaborating with Rimmel for a while, not only to create lipsticks but also nail and face products. I noticed that the shade 101 was on sale in my local Asda, so I decided to pick it up and try it out, which I am so pleased I did. This has a matte finish but is still moisturising and doesn't dry your lips out. Not only is this the perfect shade to wear all year but especially for this time of year if you feel don't like to wear dark vampy shades.

Despite it not being Summer anymore, I still like to wear lip gloss as it adds an extra something to your look. The perfect pink shade for me is Tanya Burr's lip gloss in picnic in the park. When applied over the top of a lipstick it adds extra definition and colour but doesn't distract away from the initial shade applied underneath. The gloss adds the perfect amount of colour and glossiness without feeling too heavy or sticky on the lips.
