Ultimate blogger essentials box

Blogging might be a professional job with set work hours and routines for some people however for
a lot of us it is just a hobby that we do on the side from our college or work life, like me. As a result of blogging being a hobby it can be hard to find time not only to write posts but also, finding time
to plan and get everything ready, especially if you like to stick to a schedule.

Since starting my blog, I have just been planning posts in the back of my planner. This year I have changed it up slightly and decided to get a separate notebook specifically for blogging. I have a
list of a days I'm uploading which allows me to know what post is going up on that day. I also
have a check list at the side that allows me to tick of when I have taken photos, edited them, wrote them and when I have posted about them on each type of social media. Sounds overwhelming
but it is relatively straight forward and allows me to be organised.

Despite already having a planning system that I enjoy using I always wanted something that was
specifically designed for blogging. After seeing a photo from Alice May Snell on Instagram of a blogging planner I messaged her immediately to find out where it was from. Alice messaged me back to let me know that it was from a company called Dot Creates

I had a look on their website and found that they had a lot of stationery for bloggers, including a blogger essentials box. I was intrigued as it sounded more like a subscription box. After looking
on the website I read the reviews that other people had left about the box, find out that they loved them. At the time it was on sale so I decided that I must purchase it immediately.

It arrived a few days later and I was drawn to the white and gold engraved pencils first. As silly
as it sounds I've always wanted 'pretty pencils' engraved with quirky quotes such as; eat sleep blog repeat, I need coffee, umm and put that magic on paper. Other than the pencils I was also drawn
to the hand drawn sticker sheets. Not only do they have princess and unicorn stickers but also
donuts and pizza.

One of my favourite things ... wait no, my favourite thing ... about this box is that it contains 4 prints. 2 of which are A5 and perfect for a print wall, and 2 that are A6 which makes them the perfect size for a mesh grid inspiration board. I particularly love the quotes that are on these prints.

Eat, sleep, blog, repeat
Life is better in rose gold
Do more of what makes you happy
Learn to rest. No quit

The main start of this box is the planner itself. This comes in 3 different prints; peach, grey and polka dots. The planner itself is pretty straight forward as it contains pages for sponsored content, upcoming events and the posts themselves  followed with inspiring quotes to section of each month.

I ordered mine in the peach shade as I thought it would be a peach/pink shade, turns out it's more
on the beige side. The specific planning pages have a section to write down notes and ideas and
a check list of things to do such as links and photos. In the box there is also a notepad that is
the same as the planning pages inside of the planner.

Overall I am happy with the blogger essentials box and can't wait to start using the planner. The only thing I am disappointed in is the colour as it wasn't true to the picture. However if you are a blogger that needs to get more organised or wants something targeted towards blogging, then I would recommend that you have a look at the Dot Creates website or purchase the blogger essentials box.
