June Favourites

I can't believe we're already half way through the year! Where has the time gone?
In no time it will be Autumn and we'll be getting ready for Halloween and Christmas!!
As most of you will know, I only do favourites every other month because I find last year
they got quite repetitive and boring. This month features some products that are possibly
some of my most favourite products that I have used for a long time and could even make
it into my 2016 yearly beauty favourites at the end of the year.

I think I've mentioned this is a few posts before but it has never been featured in a
favourite post. This is the Sleek contour kit. I had had this for quite a while before I
fell in love with. I actually started using this originally because I was fed up of using the
same products and I didn't really have high expectations for it. However the formula and the
colour is perfect. It's not too warm or too cool for my complexion and it blends really easily
into the skin and gives a natural contour but can be built up for a more dramatic effect.

When I did the battle of the concealers blog post I mentioned in there that I didn't really like
this concealer that much but my opinions have changed. This is the Revlon colourstay concealer
I didn't like this at first because I was using it on it's own, but since then I have used it as a base
to mix underneath my Collection Cosmetics lasting perfection concealer. I like to use this as
base because it has a smooth silky formula but doesn't have the coverage that I would like.

Most of you are probably fed up of me talking about things I got when I was in London, but
when I was in London I went in to MAC and one of the things I picked up was the soft and gentle
mineralised skin finish. I originally wanted lightscapade as I thought it would suit my skin tone
best but it wasn't what I expected at all. So I ended up purchasing the ever so famous shade;
soft and gentle. The reason I didn't want this one originally was because I thought it would be
too dark, however it is the perfect champagne gold shade and if you would like to read
a more in depth full review that you can check that out here.

For as long as I can remember I have seen other people talk about the Ben Nye banana powder.
I recently went to IMATS and I saw that they were selling Ben Nye products. I knew that
the banana powder wouldn't match my skin tone so I picked up the shades translucent and fair.
Unfortunately fair is still way too dark for me. But on the plus side the shade translucent is my
favourite powder that I own. It makes your face look flawless, it is great for baking and getting
that crisp highlighted under eye. The only downside is that it's quite messy as its a loose powder.

Recently I have changed been trying out some new shampoos and conditioners, and I have been
loving ones from Loreal. I have not long finished the nurti-gloss shampoo and conditioner and I am
currently using the firbrology thickening combination. I am in love with both of these. I would
recommend these to anybody who is struggling to find a good shampoo that suits them as Loreal
has a range of options from; thickening, colour treating and for fine and dull hair. These are
super conditioning and silky smooth but don't leave your hair feeling heavy or greasy at all.

My last and final favourite for this month is the Garnier oil infused micellar water. Garnier have
been releasing more micellar waters that are targeted at different skin tones. Originally I had the
one targeted at sensitive skin. When they released the oil infused micellar water I was a bit
conscious of trying it as I had heard a few people say that the didn't like it. When I went to repurchase
my usually one, it was out of stock so I had to go for the oil infused option and I am so glad
that I did. This removes my makeup even faster that the other one whilst being nourishing for the
skin as it is oil infused. It doesn't leave the skin feel greasy or sticky at all. However if you have
oily skin then I wouldn't recommend this to you as it works best on dry or combination skin.

Share you favourites for this month in the comments below!

xoxo
