MAC Soft and Gentle

For the longest time I have been wanting a highlight from MAC after seeing them all over
the place and especially with the amount of people that seem to love them. I finally
had the chance to pick on up the other week when I was in London and I was originally
going to the mineralize skinfinish in lightscapade as it looked like it would compliment my skin
the most however when I swatched it I was quite disappointed with the pigmentation and
it wasn't what I expected. So I decided to swatch soft and gentle and I didn't expect to
like it at all but I actually loved it. So I caved in and bought it....finally!!

Firstly the product itself has a marble look to it, with a range of darker gold running
throughout the lighter powder. Initially this can look quite intimidating and dark for the more
fairer skin but if you like the look of more gold highlights rather than pink or white toned
highlights then this will be your best friend. It is super smooth and velvet feeling when
swatched and doesn't have glitter or any traces of being a chunky highlight in it.

The colour itself is a definetly more on the gold side but it does have slight pink/warm
tone to it. This blends so beautifully into the skin that it almost gives a natural glow!
I'm saying natural you can wear it in a variety of different ways, being either more
natural and good for everyday or more intense on a night out. But if you're like me then
the more intense and brighter the highlighter the better it is!

The mineralize skinfinish's retail for £24 each which I think it a good price as they have
8 shades to choose from and realise limited edition shades in new collections. Not
only that but you are getting a large amount of product for your money which will
take a long time to get through. I think these will be great for all skin tones and types
and is can be worn in a variety of different ways and can suit a wide range of looks.
