Current favourite beauty products

You'd think with my TikTok shop hauls that I never fell out of love with makeup or doing my own. But
whilst being pregnant and then having a child, I lost interest and had new priorities. Since I know get the
evenings to myself and he is getting older, I slowly have regained some of my old interests and hobbies,
such as beauty and doing my makeup for myself again! With this I have a bunch of new favourites that I
love to use and have become new staples in my routines.

After seeing the Weleda skin food moisturiser all over my TikTok feed, I decided to pick this up and see
if it's worth the hype. After serums, moisturisers are my favourite skin care product. Packed full of
nutrients and a dry skin's best friend! This contains extracts from organic plants and is enriched with
essential oils to intensely nourish and protect the skin. One tube of this moisturiser is sold every 11
seconds and for good reason! This is incredibly rich and thick, perfect for very dry and rough skin.
They also have a light version for those who don't need quite as intense nourishment.

The PIXI clarity tonic* has become a quickly a staple in my skincare routine. This clarifying toner
is packed with AHA's, antioxidants and probiotics to help balance and clear the skin whilst minimising
the appearance of pores. I like to use this in the morning to refresh and wake up my skin and in the
evening to make sure all makeup, dirt or bacteria is fully removed and cleansed from my skin.

It's no secret that serums are my favourite skincare products. They are packed with nutrious ingredients
that target specific problem areas. The Dermalogica pro-collagen banking serum* is a new favourite of
mine and is one I highly recommend. This helps to promote and protect the skins collagen for a plumper
and more luminous appearance whilst hydrating and helping reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

I've recently started falling back in love with doing my makeup again, but since having a baby I need
products that don't take long to apply whilst still giving me the coverage I want. The Maybelline
superstay skin tint has everything I want. Being a tint makes this super lightweight and thin on the skin
avoiding looking cakey throughout the day, but the coverage is buildable to get your desired look. The
formula is enriched with Vitamin C for a brighter and more hydrated natural appearance.

For a few months I was having an issue with my makeup separating and I couldn't figure it out. In that
time I tried several new products including the Trigwell velvet loose setting powder and fell in love. Once
I realised it was the setting puff I was using, I feel even more in love with this powder. This is super finely
milled which helps to give that smooth flawless appearance under the eyes and across the skin. A lot of
powders I have used feel heavy on my face and look cakey, however this is super light weight, instantly
brightens and smooths my complexion for the perfect base!

I'm always looking for products that help cut down the time I spend on my brows and the NYX thick it,
stick it brow mascara is perfect for that. This contains natural hair like fibres that are buildable and
pigmented which keeps the brow hairs in place for up to 16 hours. The perfect product for a natural brow
or adding that extra definition to a bold brow! I love how this gives me the tint I want and lasts all day
whilst also having natural fibres to give the appearance of fuller and more defined brows.

Another product I saw on TikTok and was super intrigued by was the Loreal 3 second setting mist. There
was so much hype surrounding this and how incredible it left your makeup looking throughout the day. I
purchased this off TikTok shop as I couldn't find it anywhere, however it is now in local high street shops.
This is transfer, sweat and waterproof whilst not being sticky and drying down in 3 seconds. I have never
tried a setting spray that works so well and doesn't take ages to dry down, leaving the occasional water
speck on your face without realising. I like to use this after my cream products and again after my powder
products to lock everything into place and make sure it doesn't budge throughout the day.
