Last year my reading goal was to read 12 books. At the start of December I had accepted defeat as I had
only read 2 books. That was until I finished The Stopover and started reading the Beneath the Mask series
by Luna Mason. After finishing the series I released I had a deep love for reading smut. By the end of
December I had completed my goal and read 14 books for the years, and I credit that to the smut books.
I started with the Beneath the Mask series by Luna Mason which is a mafia romance series, focusing on a
different couple each book. These are standalone novels that don't have to be read in order or together,
however the characters do overlap slightly as they are in the same friendship circle. I read this on Kindle
Unlimited and is one of my favourite book series I've ever read and cannot recommend enough.
Afterwards on I was on the hunt for a new series and after some recommendations I started the Salacious
Players Club series by Sara Cate. This follows a group of friends whom own a sex club and each have a
different kink, which very book focuses on. This is a 6 book series and although I'm only half way through
it's all I can think about. If you are looking for a book series that is super spicy and want to get your heart
racing then this is for you!
Being a huge mood reader, I'm surprised it's taken my until now to start reading smut and spicy books. It's
no secret that I love talking about sex and the more taboo topics so reading about them is definitely for me.
I've been in a huge reading slump and struggled to find books that I want to engage in for a few years, but
this is definitely what I've been missing. Books that can't my heart racing, with intense topics that I can't
put down and binge in one night!
If you are wanting to get back into reading or are struggling to find books that interest you, I highly
recommend finding books with topics that you love. Whether that be sex, friends to lovers, high school
romance, or cosy mysteries, it will make the biggest difference to your reading!

DeleteI think anything that gets people into reading, no matter what it is, it's always a great thing to celebrate! I don't tend to read smut of spicy books, but I read a wide variety of things and I'm always open to getting into something new.
