I feel like all I've done is constantly talk about how I love reading but have been in a reading slump for the
past 18 months or so. Any blog posts surrounding books lately have been hauls or TBR's as I'm trying to
motivated back into reading. However this week I have read 4 books (graphic novels, but still books) and
it's given me a hint of motivation to pick up a new book. I know what my next read is going to be but I
want to share my top 5 books on my tbr (to-be-read) list as I'm hoping this spurs me on.
Utterly hilarious and tells is exactly how it is. This bold and authentic debut novel will have you
laughing out loud. Fifteen year old Kat wants to be a good feminist, although she doesn't quite know what
that means. She also wants to be a writer, win at her coursework, get together with hot Josh and not make
a total embarrassment out of herself at all times. But the path of true feminism is filled with muddling
moments, Instagram hell and mortifying incidents. And if that wasn't bad enough, hot Josh is distractingly
hot. When everything at school starts to get a bit too much, Kat knows that she has lost her way and the
only way forward is to ask for help.
Mean Girls meets To All The Boys I've Loved Before in this relatable high school drama about finding
your voice, speaking the truth and falling in love. Paige is used to staying quiet in the face of lies. Like
how popular girl Grace is an amazing person, how Laura steals peoples boyfriends and how her own
family are so perfect. Grace and her friends have picked their 'best' high school moments to put in the ever
so famous yearbook. But they're not just lies, they're poison. Paige has had enough, and through the pages
of the book starts to find a voice of her own. Rewriting the story and the yearbook is the place to do it

That's actually my next read and I'm so excited. I've read a couple books that have been wrote in verse and loved them so I'm hoping I love this too x
