What I've been loving throughout September

I've always found September to be a weird month. The majority is spent transitioning from summer to
autumn and buying school supplies, even if you're not going back to school. Most of the month was
spent looking after our new puppy, and trying to get into a routine. When it came to writing this post,
I realised there were a lot of new things I've loved and discovered this month. This month we face
autumn coming into full swing and a bunch of trick or treater's coming to the door. We are also
getting closer to bonfire night, I'm a celebrity coming on TV and Christmas! There are so many
things to look forward to for the remaining months and many different posts to write.

At the beginning of last month I tried out a bunch of Dermalogica and have loved using them
since. This month I've been loving the Dermalogica skin perfect primer. This can be used alone or
underneath makeup to smooth out any fine lines whilst brightening and evening out the skin giving
the appearance of a flawless base. This has an apricot base which helps to combat any dark tones
on the skin. I love this because it fills in my pores whilst evening out my uneven skin tone.

A few months ago I finally managed to get my hands on the new Revolution conceal and hydrate
foundation. After loving the conceal and define foundation, I already knew I would love. I've really
loved using this in connection with the Dermalogica skin perfect primer. The foundation adds
radiance and a natural glow without clinging to any dry or uneven patches. This has quickly
become my go to foundation and a staple in my makeup routine that I can't wait to use more!

I've loved the Urban Decay naked petite heat palette since I bought it last year, but I especially
love using it in the colder months. Since it is now officially autumn I found myself reaching for
this quite a lot this month. I love the warm, berry tones that scream autumn but also how they're
natural and can be worn for a variety of looks from day to night.

Shower foams and mouse's are my favourite to use. They hold scent longer than a regular shower gel,
they add more moisture into the skin and last a really long time. This month I finally got round to
using the Bilou shower foam in tasty donut and candy floss. Both scents are true to their name and
lather perfectly on the skin, due to being a shower foam rather than a gel. I love how soft and
nourished my skin feels after and how other people can smell the delicious scents too!

This month started of really well, as Rainbow Rowell released a new book. I believe I own all of her
books and have read 3 of them so far. As soon as she announced she was collaborating with Faith
Erin Hicks to create an autumnal graphic novel, I added it straight to my wish list. Pumpkinheads is
about 2 friends who have worked at a pumpkin patch for a few years, but this is their last time at the
patch before heading to college. The book is them spending the last night together, eating snacks,
seeing the whole patch, meeting new people and going on 1 last adventure. If you want a simple read
that is super cosy and perfect for the colder months, I 100% recommend checking this out.
