What's in my makeup bag for a hot holiday

When it comes to going on holiday, I never know what to take in regards to makeup. But somehow it 

always end up being too much and more that I use for an everyday look at home. Since I'm going on 

holiday in a week, I wanted to share the ideal makeup bag, when travelling to a hot country. 

This year I'm going back to Gran Canaria where the temperatures can be in the 30℃'s and we spend 

the days in and out of the pool, or sunbathing. At this point I don't wear any makeup at all, however 

when it comes to the evening I do like to make myself look slightly put together! Since I find that my 

skin clears up on holiday, because of the sun, so I don't want to clog up my skin with a full face. 

I've decided that I'm only going to take 5 products with me this year. Wish me luck!

If I could only wear one piece of makeup for the rest of my life, it would be mascara, which is why 

I'm definitely making sure to bring it with me. Eye lashes make the biggest difference to any look and 

can give that extra boost of confidence. As well as mascara, I love defining my brows. There's 

something so beautiful about being naturally sun kissed with a bold defined brow. 

Since I do have acne and a some scarring left, I didn't want to bring a heavy foundation but still 

wanted to give my face some coverage and even everything out a bit. I'm making sure to pack a 

medium-full coverage concealer that will cover any redness as well as making me look more awake.

Unfortunately I have very fair skin and also get burnt instead of tanning, but I do want to look like 

I've got that sun kissed glow rather than a baked lobster look. I would usually go for a matte bronzer, 

but wanted to pack a bronzer with a very slight amount of shimmer throughout as well as a
highlighter for that extra added glowiness whilst trying to look as much like JLO as possible.
