There is truly nothing better than running a bath, putting on a face mask, lighting candles and having
a pamper night. I often find myself having mini pamper nights, where I just have a bubble bath and
do a face mask, however it's very rare that I do a full on intense pamper night. And we all deserve
them. There are so many different ways to treat yourself but having the perfect ambiance and a hot
bath is one of the best ways. Since these are my favourite nights, I wanted to share my pamper
routine so we can all treat ourselves and have the perfect night in to ourselves.


STEP 1 - RUN A BATH
Although this is pretty self explanatory, its also the most important step to having a pamper night.
Make sure the bath is run to your desired temperature, any cooler or warmer will affect your mood. I
also pick out my favourite and softest towel that I own, so I'm warm and comfy when I come out.

STEP 2 - MAKE YOURSELF A DRINK
A lot of people opt for wine or an alcoholic beverage here, I however choose a hot chocolate.

STEP 3 - PUT ON CALMING MUSIC
When I think of pampering myself, I always think of a spa and how relaxing they are when you
arrive. Since we want to achieve that same outcome try playing some calming music such as;
acoustic, instrumental, spa, piano or even use a sound machine.

STEP 4 - APPLY A FACE MASK
No matter if it's a quick or long pamper night, I always make sure to do a face mask. I love to use the
7th Heaven charcoal peel of mask, to give my skin a deep cleanse and remove any impurities.

STEP 5 - ACCESSORIES THE BATH
After running a bath, this is the most important step to make sure that your pamper night is the best. I
like to use the moisturising bath soak with aloe vera and avocado, to create the perfect scent as well
as bubbles. My favourite part is choosing a bath bomb to put in. I love the Wilko fruits bath bombs
range as they are huge, smell amazing and are extremely affordable. To finish it off, since I want to
relax I also make sure to add a few drops of lavender oil.



STEP 6 - SET THE SCENE
There is this stereotype around a pamper night being filled and surrounded by candles to give the
perfect ambiance. However after trying it, it makes all the difference. Since there are so many scents
already going in the bath, I chose to light 3 unscented candles to use that add a little extra warmth. I
also like to add some fake flowers to the scene, to make myself feel like I'm truly in a spa.

STEP 7 - READ
To fully submerge in the pamper night, I really enjoy reading. Stepping away from my phone and
laptop, gives my mind and body a chance to relax and rewind. I choose to read a book as I often
loose myself in another world, however magazines are just as enjoyable.

STEP 8 - TREAT YOUR HAIR AND BODY
We can often forget to take care of our hair and body, as hours have past and we're still in the bath.
Using a thick and conditioning shampoo and conditioner, gives your hair a real treat, as well as a
foam shower gel to purify and fully cleanse your skin.

STEP 9 - PAINT NAILS
As soon as I'm out the bath and in my dressing gown, I paint my toenails. Essence nail polishes are
some of my favourites as they last for multiple weeks without chipping, look glossy without a top
coat and have an incredible shade range to choose from. My favourite is hot red chilli (90).

STEP 10 - MOISTURISER YOUR BODY
The last step that I do is moisturiser my entire body. At the moment I'm loving using the Wilko 
cocoa butter intense body lotion, as it's super moisturising and softening on the skin whilst leaving
a beautiful soft scent that truly finishes of the pamper night in the right way.
