The most exciting thing about August being over is that not only are we getting closer to Christmas but I get to say that it's officially Autumn this month. OMG! Yes! This means I get to wear jumpers and cosy up in the quilt which I've been dying to do after this heatwave we've been having in the UK for what feels like months. I don't feel like August was very productive but I did have some trips out with Liam, however September is literally a month of nothing since there is nothing planned and I want to focus more on my blog and getting content out on the days they are supposed to!
There have only been a couple new finds this month, and the rest are just things I've been
loving for a long time but haven't mentioned in favourites - but I'm especially loving or
enjoying using at the moment.
I first discovered this in a random video on Instagram and have not heard or seen anything since. That was until I saw this in Superdrug whilst I was in Liverpool at the beginning of the month. I didn't know if I would like this at first because of the sponge, however I think the sponge works in its favour. The sponge works alongside the foundation (obviously) to give a flawless and full coverage base, that is buildable and comfortable on the skin. This has been my go to foundation this month.
This month I picked up a lot of imperial leather products (8 shower gels to be exact - see my blog post here), but I've especially been loving their foamburst in the scent cherry bomb that is in collaboration with Skinny Dip. I love using this, not only because it smells incredible but also because it lathers up super easily on the skin and leaves your body feeling super smooth and clean.
Natural Collection volume mascara
My all time favourite mascara is the Natural Collection lash build mascara, however when Natural Collection has a revamp of their range they also changed some of their products. This became a slight concern for me, but I quickly found one with the same brush and prayed it would work the same. Thankfully it did. The volume mascara is the exact (or closest I have found) to the original lash build mascara. This gives the perfect amount of definition and volume to the lashes without making them clumpy or thick as well as making your lashes still feel like your own.
Jaclyn Hill x Morphe - the vault collection
There are very few times in my life when I've panicked over the thought of not being able to buy a makeup item. The 2 times this has happened was because of Jaclyn Hill. Her collaborations with Morphe are iconic and I was making sure I was going to get my hands on her latest vault collection. I did - check out the full review here. I've been using all the palettes from her collection and have tried to step out of my comfort zone and experiment with colours I wouldn't usually - like purple. If you are considering purchasing the collection or just a palette individually I would 110% recommend
that you do so. You wont regret it, I promise. Check out my full review here.
Patricia Bright x MAC lipstick
Another youtube collaboration that I was lucky enough to get my hands on this month was with
Patricia Bright x MAC. This lipstick isn't something I would usually go for but I have definitely
been loving the warm brown shade this month, especially as it's starting to cool down (ever so slightly) and we now going into September which means Autumn. Despite only being a matte I still find this super creamy and comfortable on the lips. As I find dark shades quite intimidating, I like to tap this on the centre of my lips and blend it out with my finger for a more sheer/natural finish. Check out my full review of the Patricia Bright x MAC lipstick collaboration here.

I absolutely love the Jaclyn Hill Morphe Vault collection! How amazing is it? xx
ReplyDeleteIt's incredible. I keep changing my mind on which palette from the collection is my favourite!! Do you have it yourself? x
DeleteGlad I’m not the only one thinking of Christmas in August 🎅🏻 I tried to unicorn foamburst on holiday and just didn’t feel it, but I think its cause I’m not used to the foamyness! I may need to give another one a go!!
