January favourites

I swear January is the longest month. Whether that's because we have just finished Christmas and having time off, or because it's a new year. I definitely feel like January has been very productive and that I've achieved a lot this month. Since it was just Christmas and the sales have been and gone, I have picked up quite a few new products and have been trying them out this month. There were so many products that I have been loving but decided to feature 5 products for this month favourites!

Gucci bloom perfume
When I say that I've never smelt a perfume as incredible as this, I truly mean it. The thing that drew me into this perfume as first was the advert, and then the gorgeous floral packaging. Obviously I wasn't going to spend a lot of money on a perfume that I might not have liked, so when I saw it in Boots I added it straight to my wish list. I am very lucky for having this because my boyfriend me the gift set for this on Boxing Day, when it was reduced further in the sale. The fragrances notes for this perfume are described as being rich and white floral. If I could recommend 1 perfume that you go and smell or purchase for yourself I would 100% recommend this fragrance to you.

There are certain products that I will only see 1 person talk about and immediately want to try it out. I am a person of nature when it comes to skincare, as I'm very sceptical to try out new products. As soon as I saw the simple hydrating booster I knew I needed it in my life. The name itself, intrigued me as it is a water boost product. I like to use this before I apply my moisturiser to refresh and hydrate my skin. A little of this goes a long way, and has an immediate affect on your skin.

I am always buying new makeup, so much so that I don't know when I picked up this foundation. When I think about what I have been loving this month and what I have been using in my makeup routine, this foundation is the first to come to mind. This is a medium to full coverage foundation with a soft dewy finish, that is super easy to apply and build up on the skin.

The beginning of January, Makeup Revolution decided to shock us all with a new launch of concealers with 18 different shades (more to be added). These are said to be a dupe for Tarte shape tape concealer, but I am yet to try that out. I think the main selling point for these other than the incredible shade range is that they are only £4. I bought the 3 lightest shades in the range as I am very pale, and they all work incredibly well on my skin and last all day long.

Charlotte Tilbury lipstick - KKW
Charlotte Tilbury is a brand that I wanted to try out for so long, but never did due to it being quite expensive. However my boyfriend treated me to one of her lipsticks in the shade KKW, just after Christmas. This was a shade that I had my eye on for the longest time and was so happy to finally have it in my collection. This is described as the perfect vintage light pink. I like to apply this lightly onto my lips and blend it in with my fingers and top it off with a pink gloss for the perfect nude look.
