My goals

This is not my photo

2018! Wow. How are we already here. Every year fly's by even quicker than the last. We all come up with goals and resolutions that we want to achieve for the new year, both realistic and unrealistic. Most of my goals usually end up being things that I can achieve but just don't! This year I am determined to make it mine. 2018 will be my year and I will achieve these goals (or most of them!)

LOOSE WEIGHT AND EAT BETTER
Every year I say that I want to eat better and loose weight, but I only ever sticking to it for a small amount of time. This year I have put on quite a bit of weight and I intend to loose it all and maybe a bit more. I've always ate a lot of junk food, but I've started to notice a difference in how I feel. I hate feeling so exhausted and tired all the time, so this year I want to change that.

READ MORE AND BETTER MY KNOWLEDGE
I always say that I want to read more and despite buying new books more often than I'd like to
admit, I never end up reading more. I have purchased so many books recently (book haul coming soon) and I am determined to read them. I am a quick reader but I don't want to over estimate how much I can read, so my aim is for a book every fortnight, totalling 26 books over this year.

SPEND AND SAVE MY MONEY WISELY
Despite only just being at the start of 2018, me and my boyfriend Liam have been talking about moving out at the end of year or the beginning of 2019. This means that I need to be sensible with
my money and when I do spend it, it needs to be spent wisely on things for the future. I need to
find a balance between saving but also buying things to move out with.

FINISH MY LEVEL 3 COURSE AT COLLEGE
This is the 1 thing that I know I'm going to achieve this year, as my final college course is
finishing. The reason that this is on my list of 2018 goals is because I want to have something
to look forward to and strive towards.

GO ON WEEKEND GETAWAYS
I am very fortunate to be able to go on holidays and trips every year. For the past 4-5 years I
have gone abroad on my holidays, and would love to again this year. However as me and my boyfriend are wanting to move out, it means that we are saving, this means that we most likely
won't go abroad this year. We'll have a holiday in the Summer, but I would love to go on weekend getaways more this year. We have already booked Brighton for February and will be booking to
go to Edinburgh in December.

FURTHER MY RELATIONSHIPS
My main goal this year is to further my relationship with my boyfriend and possibly get engaged. Obviously I'm not in control of this but we have talked about the future. Not only do I want to
further my relationship with Liam, but also with my friends and family. I want to see my family
more often as family is truly everything.

DO MORE TO TALK ABOUT
Something that I love to hear is stories from my grandparents and what they did when they were
my age. Since I don't go out a lot and have anxiety that has stopped me from doing things that I'd like, it means that I don't have any stories to tell. This year I want to do more things and have
more experiences that I can talk about and share in the future.
