Beauty gift guide - Blogmas day 1

These photos are not mine

It's BLOGMAS!! I am so excited that it is now officially December. A few months ago I decided
that I wanted to do Blogmas, which is where you upload a blog post everyday from December 1st
to December 24th, a writers take on Vlogmas. I'm very excited for this but I could come to regret it near the end! The first day is a beauty gift guide. I did one of these last year so I decided it must
be apart of Blogmas this year. I have chose 6 gifts that I would love to receive and think others
would too, that also vary in prices.

Real Techniques are my favourite brush brand and I love to see what they gifs they come out with at Christmas. This year they have released their original range in limited edition holographic packaging,  tree ornament style containing mini brushes and sponges, as well as the same bold metal sets from last year. These are a great price ranging from only £6 to £100 for the bold metal brush sets. If you are a beginner who is just starting out or a professional makeup artist these are perfect for you.

I've never received a gift set from the Body Shop, but when I was browsing beauty gift ideas I came across the wonder cube. The Body Shop has teamed up with House of Holland to create a box that also transports into a game. This is filled with 9 full size and mini products. This retails at £45, meaning that each product is worth about £5 each.

Charlotte Tilbury is a luxury beauty brand that everyone loves. Her Christmas gifts don't disappoint. This year she has a variety of different gifts ranging from £15 to £315. The lipsticks are some of the most popular products. The hot lips trio contains 3 mini lipsticks in the shades; Kim K W, Secret Salma and Carina's love, which is a nude, pink and red to help achieve any look possible.

This year MAC has released their snowball Christmas range which in my opinion contains one of the best gift sets that is on the market; 12 mini lipsticks in colour coordinated packaging. It's very rare that people finish using every lipstick that they own, so minis are great to test out different shades and formulas. This gift set includes; party commencing, little darling, please me, mangrove, ruby woo, rebel, flat out fab, good kisser, diva, velvet teddy, whirl and stone which work out at a total of about £7 each for 1.8g of lipstick compared to a full size 3g lipstick. Totally worth it!

Lush does the perfect gift sets for a variety of different prices that suit everyone. At Christmas everyone goes nuts for the snow fairy shower gel and bath bombs so when I saw that there was a snow fairy gift box I knew I had to include it. This box is slightly under £25 and contains a 100g shower gel, magic wand, jelly bomb and 50g body conditioner all in the snow fairy scent.

My favourite thing at Christmas is opening up your stocking and seeing what mini goodies you get. Usually I get essentials such as deodorant, hairspray, bath products etc. I also love tangle teezers as they are such basic but well needed product. They have an incredible collection of brushes and have released a few Christmas edition brushes which will be perfect to receive in your stocking.

What is on your Christmas list?
