2017 Spring Essentials

I think I say this every time I do a seasonal essentials post, especially spring and summer, but how is it already spring. I always feel like the weeks and months go fast but the seasons just seem to fly by. If you have been a long time reader of my blog then you will know that I share my essentials with you for the seasons since I first started posting on my blog. This year is no different, except that I am more excited for spring and curious to see what the upcoming weather in England will be like!

I have been using this toner for as long as I can remember, and I can't imagine a time when I wont use it. As it is a spray toner it is easy to use and super refreshing on the skin. Even in England, it is getting a little bit warmer so keeping your skin hydrated and nourished is always important.

I don't really do a lot with my hair anymore so it doesn't get as dry as it used to, however I still like to use oils to keep my hair as healthy as possible, especially going into spring and (hopefully) being outside more. Any hair oil is great to use but I am loving the Josh Wood radiant hair shine treatment.

Perfume is a must have year round, but as we are now out of winter I like to stay away from the warm and heavy scents and move onto more light floral scents. I am really loving using the Ted Baker Mia perfume at the moment, as it is handbag size but also has notes of rose, freesia, lemon and amber.

Lip gloss has never been my thing as it was always super sticky and I never liked the feeling of it on my skin. Since try the Soap and Glory sexy mother pucker gloss in the shade rose and shine, my opinions have changed. This adds the perfect amount of gloss and sheen to the lips without being sticky and too overwhelming. The shade is also perfect for spring day time looks.

Usually if I am going to wear eye shadow I go all out and wear a lot. But there is something about spring that just screams natural, dewy and fresh. So when it comes to eyes I like to keep them as natural as possible. The Miss Sporty shadow stick in the shade strawberry coulis helps give the perfect dewy look to the eyes whilst still adding a bit of extra definition.
