Double Chocolate Chip Shortbread

Baking is something that I love to do and they usually taste really nice except I can never get them to look visually appealing. However I recently purchased Tanya Bakes and wanted to try to bake something
from it. I decided to make the chocolate chip shortbread and they turned out really well, so I thought I
would share them with you and how to make them in just 7 simple steps, for if you want to make
these and don't have the Tanya Burr Tanya Bakes book.

Ingredients
250g plain flour
75g caster sugar
175g refrigerated butter
75g milk chocolate chips
75g white chocolate chips

Prep time: 15 minutes
Baking tine: 20 minutes

STEP 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C or 350°F and line a baking
tray with grease proof paper

STEP 2
Mix the flour and sugar together

STEP 3
Slowly work in the butter using your fingers to make
a breadcrumb
consistency

STEP 4
Add in the chocolate chips

STEP 5
Once the mixture has been formed to a dough mixture,
form even shaped balls and place on the baking sheet

STEP 6
Bake the shortbread for 15-20 minutes or until
they are beautifully golden

sprinkle and dust over the top
