February Favourites

Last year I did monthly favourites every month. I found that as the months went on they all
featured similar or even the same products. I decided that this year I would do them every
other month so it gives me a chance to find new products and new items that I love.
The first product that I have been loving this month and in which is possibly my
favourite out of all of the products is the Becca shimmering skin perfector in Champagne
Pop which was a collaboration with Youtuber and makeup artist Jaclyn Hill. I love
this because it works with all complexions which is quite hard to find in a highlighter.
This is quite an intense champagne gold shade that doesn't look too overwhelming on the
skin. I like to wear this when I'm going out or on an everyday basis if I'm
wanting a more glamorous more put together makeup look.

I have used the Max Factor 2000 calorie lash affect mascara and I didn't realise
how much I liked it until now. This adds both length and volume and looks
great when worn alongside the Natural Collection lash build mascara.

For Christmas I got the starter kit and core collection brush kits from Real
Techniques and there are 2 brushes in particular that I am loving
from them. The first one is the brow brush from the starter kit. For such
a long time now I have been using an ELF cosmetics eyeliner brush for my
brows, and it wasn't until I started using the Real Techniques one that I realised
I love this one so much more. As this is an angled brush it means
that it can add sharp lines and give a defined look to the brow without being
too harsh, whilst also letting you have control of the brush.

The other brush is the contour brush from the core collection. I really enjoy this brush
because it is dense and slightly tapered but also is fluffy which means the brush does
the blending at the same time as contouring. It has taken me such a long time to
find the right brush for contouring, and I can't believe it took me this long to find one.

A palette that I've been loving is the Stila eyes are the window palette in spirit which
I have done a review on which you can read here. I really like this palette
because it contains shades that I really love and would use for both a day and
night time look. This is mainly neutrals but also has some bold colours.

My last favourite of the month is the Liz Earle cleanse and polish. I had heard so
many good things about Liz Earle products so I had very high hopes for this.
I think this is actually my favourite skin care product that I have used because it
is super easy and simple to use but is also really effective.
