Autumn Essentials

Autumn is definitely my favourite season, mainly because I love to get cosy and snuggle up
in a blanket with a hot chocolate whilst watching a film but also because I love that darker
fashion and makeup is more acceptable to wear, which I love. This was actually
one of my first blog posts I did this time last year, so I wanted to do it again.

Mac Mocha Lipstick - Typically when you think of autumn makeup you think of dark wine or burgundy lips. I do love darker lips but I find it quite hard to wear purple or red lips so I opt for darker nudes. Mac Mocha is a beautiful colour and a great shade for autumn because it is darker than velvet teddy and is more of a brick red colour. This lipstick is a great colour that can be worn both more casual in the day time or dramatic of a night.

Tanya Burr Hollywood Palette -  I love this palette so much, that I think I've featured it is a favourites as well as its own review. This palette is great for autumn because it has copper/gold eye shadow shades as well as a dark brown to add some definition. I also love this palette because it is super easy to wear and can be great in the day time.

Sleek Contour Kit -  Although summer is over and we now no longer have a natural bronzed glow to our skin, we can fake it with bronzers and contour kits. I particularly like this one because it has both a contour shade and a highlight shade. The contour shade can be worn darker and used actually as a contour or worn lightly as a bronzer. The highlight is a great shade and isn't too shimmery or too sheer either.

Black Boots -  I have searched for such a long time to find the perfect boots that have a slight heel but aren't too tall and I finally found them a few months ago from H&M. They have the perfect height which don't make me look too tall which is great because I am around 5 5" already and I find heels to look quite weird on me. I love to style these with skinny jeans and jumpers mainly for a super autumnal look.

Khaki Duster Coat -  I have been looking for a coat that isn't a winter coat and too heavy but isn't a thin filmy jacket. This is the perfect mixture of both as it isn't too thick or too thin and is also a great colour that goes along with autumn and the autumn fashion, as well as being super easy to wear and style.
