Summer Holiday Essentials

I am going holiday to Peurto Rico in Gran Canaria for 2 weeks, in 9 days and I am so excited!!
I thought as it is so close I would share some of my holiday essentials with you,
if any of you are getting ready to go on holiday or if you are just curious to as what I bring.

Books on holiday is a definite must have, I would usually only bring 1 book but as I am
going for 2 weeks I thought I'd bring two. I chose to bring Paper Towns by John Green and The
Beautiful and the Damned by F.Scott Fitzgerald. Books are great to read when on the airplane,
or when you are relaxing by the pool or on the beach.

Headphones are great not only for listening to music but also to use when on the airplane
to block out everyone around you and it also allows you to escape from what's
going on around you - especially if you don't like being on planes. These are also great
for when on the beach or by the pool but be extra careful as you wouldn't want to get them wet!
My headphones are from skinnydiplondon.com.

I didn't want to include too many clothing items, but I always find t-shirt dresses on holiday and in
hot weather a necessity. This one was about £6 from ebay and it is the perfect length,
so it's not too long, not too short but it's also loose fitting but gives shape at the same time.
Shorts are an obvious essential, but I think patterned and smarter looking shorts are a nice alternative
to denim jeans, as they can be worn casual or dressed up. The green tropical shorts are from
missguided and the black lace shorts are from h&m.

I didn't want to share too many makeup items either but I thought I would share my 3 products,
that I'll be bringing along. The Bourjois CC cream is great for the hot weather
because it is light weight and lets your imperfections shine through whilst also covering and
giving your skin a natural look, whilst also having SPF15. A bronzer and highlighter is always an
essential for me, but on holiday they are especially great. They can be worn alone to brighten up
your skin, but can be worn on a night time for a more put-together look.
