Reading is something that I love to do. My favourite genre is contemporary, because I love
reading about a form romance or girly type literature.
The first book I would 100% recommend is; The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. This
is about two characters who both have cancer. However it's a story about their love
and romance towards each other rather than focusing on their terminal illness.
The reason I would recommend this is because of the beautiful love story. I would
also recommend seeing the movie that starts Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort.
The next book I would recommend is; Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell. This book is
about a girl who stands out moves into town and falls in love with a character
who is invisible to everyone apart from her. I would recommend this because this
is a book that is all about love and has a beautiful story to it. The other reason that I would
recommend this is because the way that Rainbow Rowell writes is very similar
to how John Green writes, so if you like his books you will mostly likely like these books.
The last book I would recommend is; Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck. This book
is set during the Great Depression in America, where to characters find work at a ranch but one
finds himself in some danger. This is a book that is mainly known as it has been used during
the english curriculum. The reason that I would recommend this book is because
I believe it has a beautiful story about love and friendship that is being foreshadowed by
the danger surrounding their friendship.
