I'm pregnant!

I'm pregnant! I feel so relieved to finally say that. A sentence I've longed to say for so long. If you told
me this time a six months ago I was going to be announcing that I was having a baby, I wouldn't have
believed you. In fact I never thought this was going to happen. It definitely came as a surprise but
surprises are often the best! Being someone who studied childcare, has worked with and been around
children for most of my life, whilst dreaming of being a mom myself since I was a child, this is
something I've always wanted and can't wait to embark on this next chapter.

I've always wanted children, and have expressed incredible interest in being a mom one day. My journey
so far has already been so up and down, which I never expected but I'm thankful for every second. I'm
finding it so special to think that I'm having a baby at the same age as my mom and that she is with me
every step of the way. Being pregnant has definitely made me appreciate those around me more. In my
next post I'm going to talk in more depth about the first trimester and my experience.

My pregnancy journey definitely isn't off to the start that I always hoped for, from loosing friends,
getting rude comments, scares, being single and more but I can't wait for this next chapter and having
those special people around for it.

Stay tuned to follow along on this journey with me!

xoxo
