Updated skincare favourites

Skincare is very up and down for me. Unfortunately at the moment it's down, so I've been lacking on my
self care and taking care of my skin like I know I should be. As I do have a lot of skincare, and am very
thankful to be sent some from amazing brands, I wanted to do this post not only to share my favourite
skincare items but also to encourage me to get back into a routine and start taking care of my skin again.

The product that has been a favourite of mine for the longest is the Dermalogica skin smoothing
cream*. Over the 10+ years that I've been wearing makeup and doing my skincare, I have never found a
moisturiser that I love as much as this. I have very sensitive skin so I have to be careful with the products
that I use as they can react with my skin, leaving it red and sore. This is super lightweight yet incredibly
moisturising, and you only need a small amount as a little goes a long way. I am slowly running out of
this and in need of a new moisturiser or repurchasing one asap.

Since I love the Dermalogica moisturiser it's not shock that I also love their barrier defence booster*. I
particularly love to mix the two together to get the benefits all in one. This is a concentrated oil which
soothes, nourishes and moisturises the skin to restore balance. I love this as it adds that extra bit of
hydration into my skin that it needs.

Serums are a guilty pleasure of mine. Being a girl with dry skin I need all the moisture and hydration in
my skin that I can get (a common theme amongst my skincare), and serums help do just that. Over the last
few months I've absolutely fell in love with the Grounded Egyptian gold retinol face serum*. The reason I
love this so much is because it contains hyaluronic acid which my skin loves, as well as targeting fine
lines and wrinkles and any dark spots on the skin and around the eyes. Most importantly for me this
doesn't leave my skin feeling heavy or sticky and it doesn't clog up my pores.

A brow mask is something that never even crossed my mind until I received the Glissy Brow brow mask
in the July Roccabox*. Our brows are often forgotten about, but just like the hair on our head they need
taking care of. This mask in infused with organic avocado and castor oil to condition the brow hairs and
result in looking thicker, stronger and healthier.

The Skin Chemists rose quartz lip plump has been in my life for what feels like forever. Im not sure where
it first came from, but it just appeared in my life and since then I have also received another in my
Roccabox advent calendar. I think the reason that I love this so much is because it feels like a balm on my
lips rather than a sticky gloss, as well as being painless compared to other lip plumpers. This leaves you
with a effortlessly plumped lips that look beautifully glossy and hydrated.

My favourite product that I received in my Roccabox advent Calendar was the Murad replenishing multi-
acid peel. Murad is such a hyped up skincare brand and having only ever received samples and travel size
products, I was ecstatic to try this out. This combines multi-level exfoliation, youth-boosting treatment
and intensive nourishment to give your skin the glow up it both needs and deserves. This is heaven in a
bottle and my skin loves it. If the peel is this good, I look forward to trying out more from them.

The newest item in my skincare favourites is one that I grabbed immediately off the shelf when I saw it
and might have yelled out a little scream for. The Yes To tomatoes triple threat blemish treatment is
everything I've been looking for. This contains charcoal to detoxify and remove impurities, sulphur to
fight breakouts and witch hazel to combat redness. I've had my eyes on blemish treatments like this for a
while, but decided to give this one a go as I've heard nothing but good things about Yes To. You simply
take a cotton bud, dip it into the solution (do not shake) and apply directly to the problem area. Rinse of in
the morning to reveal clearer skin. This has been a life saver as my skin was getting used to the products I
was using and nothing was working on my breakouts. I make sure to use this only when necessary and it
takes those breakouts and problem areas right away.

  5. I'm a skincare addict so I really love this post! I actually have never tried Dermalogica though, but I need a new moisturiser and that sounds lovely! I'm also a fellow dry skin gal so the serum sounds unreal too. Also why had I never considered a brow mask!? I feel like I've been neglecting mine now!
