Valentines Day gift guide

I've never been a huge fan of Valentines Day, but this year I've gotten really into it. I love the history
behind Valentines Day, and how people had to get married in secret. As times gone on it's lost it's history
and tradition, and although I agree that you should show your love to people year round, having 1 extra
special day is nice too. I always struggle with gifts and what to get that special person in my life, so I
wanted to create a gift guide to look back on myself but also share some ideas and inspiration with you all.

CURATED BOXES
Over the last year, curated boxes have become so popular, especially on Etsy. No matter what the
occasion, person or theme you can find a box for them. From food and stationery to pamper products and
accessories, there's a box for it. This year my favourite is the Cow themed Valentines Box from SoohieArt
on Etsy. This comes with a card (choice of 5), stickers, some sweets and a personalised keyring with your
initials (choice of 18 colours) for only £10. It's a simplistic box that will put a smile on anyones face.

PERSONALISED GIFTS
I'm a huge sucker for anything that can be personalised. Every year I try to get the most important people
in my life a personalised gift for Christmas, but Valentines Day is another chance to do so. My favourite
personalised gift is the music song plaque. I got my boyfriend one of these for Christmas and he loved it.
A song and photo of your choice that has sentimental value and can be kept in your home forever.

FOOD AND DRINK
You can never go wrong with food and drinks for Valentines Day, especially alcohol and chocolates. I've
been loving gin (like everyone else) over the last year, and would love to receive a bottle myself. If you're
looking for a sweet treat, for that special person in your life then check out Etsy. They offer one of a kind
pieces that are super affordable. I'm desperate to get my hands on some letterbox brownies, chocolate

BEAUTY
Beauty products don't just have to be gifts for the women in your life. Men love a good pamper too.
There are so many options out there. From perfume and cologne, to face mask and beard care, you can't
go wrong. Boots and Superdrug have some amazing offers on to treat the people you love in your life,
or get a gift for yourself (I might do this myself!)

EXPERIENCES
Although we can't go out and do what we want, experiences are still a great gift. There are millions of
experiences out there that make perfect gifts for any person no matter what their hobbies are. If this isn't
in your budget, take inspiration and arrange something at home. You can create a ticket for afternoon tea
for two in your living room later that day, with a dress code and bring the experience to you.

JEWELLERY
There are so many beautiful jewellery pieces on the market to choose from. Sometimes jewellery can
seem intimidating especially on Valentines Day, however that doesn't have to be the case. Have a browse
online and there are thousands of ideas to choose from, no matter what your price range. I've recently
feel in love with a promise ring that I found on Etsy for less that £45. If you are after something less
'traditional' then a watch is perfect. Nordgreen have a huge range of watches to choose from for both men
and women. You can use code 'LEA' for 15% off your entire order at Nordgreen Watches.

MISCELANEOUS
I will admit that some gifts around Valentines Day can be on the 'cheesy' side, but it doesn't have to be that
way. If you don't want to get someone a gift that screams Valentines Day and doesn't have hearts and love
written all over it, there are still countless options out there. Prezzybox have a variety of gifts ranging
from mugs and scratch off posters to books and pillows.

FOR 18+
This is by far my favourite category for Valentines Gifts and they don't just have to be for a significant
other. These gifts are also perfect for those best friends who are celebrating 'Galentine's Day'. My
favourite place for the more 'raunchy' gifts is definitely Your Pleasure Toys. With items for both men,
women and couples, as well as beginners and bondage lovers. There is something for everyone.
