Skincare new to me

Over the last month or so I have acquired a lot of skincare. I love skincare and am lucky enough to
get sent new pieces to try out, review and share with you guys. With being in lockdown, I'm not
wearing makeup at all really (maybe 3 times) so my skin is having a lot more time to breathe and
clear up. Obviously I'm still getting break outs, my skin is far from perfect, but it's definitely
improved. Lockdown isn't ideal, but I guess it does have it's silver linings somewhere!

Dermalogica active clay cleanser*
"A prebiotic cleanser that deeply purifies to help balance oily skin. Dual action, mineral rich clay
and charcoal formula actively cleanses and purifies, whilst absorbing excess oil and impurities."

As most of you will know, I absolutely love Dermalogica skin care and am yet to try a product from
them that I don't like. When it comes to removing my makeup I'm pretty loyal to my Face Halo, yet
I'm starting to add in an additional step where I use a small amount of cleanser to remove any makeup
and access dirt that the Face Halo hasn't managed to remove. Even though this is aimed at people
with oily skin, I think this will be perfect for my skin as it contains charcoal which has amazing
benefits such as; removing deep impurities, toxins and dead skin cells.

"Refresh, soothe and brighten the appearance of the skin with this non-drying, floral scented
toner. This is gentle and alcohol-free to provide an instant boost of hydration and radiance."

"With a silky texture, this lightweight plant-powered moisturiser locks in moisture and
effortlessly hydrates to restore balance to all skin types, to also help smooth and soften the skin."

Liz Earle is a brand that I have only tried 1 product from, but I loved it. Their hot cloth cleanser is an
iconic cult product from them that is adored by many and I am no exception. They have a lot of offers
on their website where you can try a bunch of their products for a fraction of the price. I purchased
one of their sets which included the instant boost skin tonic (50ml and 200ml), hot cloth cleanser
(100ml and 200ml), skin repair light cream (15ml and 50ml), orange flower energising botanical body
wash (200ml) and a nourishing botanical body cream (50ml) for only £49.

I've only tried the skin tonic a handful of times as I still have some of my other toner left however I
can't wait to use it. It leaves my skin feeling so smooth and refreshed, instead of greasy and sticky.
The skin repair light cream is so soft and nourishing on the skin and not heavy at all. I am so excited
to try them out properly and incorporate them into my skincare routine more.

"Effectively cleanses and repairs the skin leaving it feeling squeaky clean and smooth. Using aloe
vera for a hydrated, brightened and refreshed skin, which removing any and all impurities."

"The pure plant ingredients help to rebuild the natural tissue of your skin to replenish and nourish
the skin and help maintain the skins natural elasticity, whilst protecting from added bacteria."

"Enriched with vitamin c to help reduce to visible signs of fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars
and hydrate dull skin. Leaving the skin looking visibly glowing, smoother and tighter."

Skinkissed is a brand that I've heard incredible things about from fellow bloggers, but have also been
seeing adverts for their face serum which is there most loved product. I am yet to try their face
cleanser and cream, but I love their face serum. It glides on the skin, and leaves it feeling smooth and
hydrated without being sticky or tacky to touch. I've got a few serums on the go at the minute but I'm
going to be alternating between those and this because I love this so much already.

Skin academy zero face wash*
"Formulated with 100% natural and vegan ingredients, whilst being enriched with coconut oil
and Sacha inchi oil to leave the skin feeling soothed and deeply hydrated and nourished."

Skin academy zero face scrub*
"Enriched with Sacha inchi oil, sweet almond oil and apricot seeds for a gentle daily exfoliant.
This is 100% natural and vegan, and have sustainable packaging made from sugarcane ethanol"

Skin academy zero eye cream*
"This is enriched with Shea butter and coconut oil for a natural remedy on the eye area. This is
delicate and super hydrating surrounding your eyes without being irritating or too heavy."

Skin academy zero day cream*
"This is the prefect day cream as it's enriched with Shea butter and coconut oil to leave a
hydrating and soothing finish to the skin. Without being thick and heavy this is super nourishing."

Skin academy zero night cream*
"Using all natural and vegan ingredients this is a heavier cream designed to be used in the
evening to soak into the skin overnight to leave the skin feeling super nourished and hydrated."

I have been looking for a face scrub for so long that isn't too harsh on my skin but is easy to use and
this is just perfect. Although it says it can be used daily I still only like to use it 2-3 times a week as
my skin is sensitive and if I used a product like this everyday, no matter how gentle, it will break out.
What I love about this brand is that they are vegan and use 100% natural ingredients but they also use
sustainable and recyclable packing, both the tubes and boxes the products come in. It's rare to find a
brand that cares so much about the quality of its product as well as how environmentally friendly the
packaging is, since so much does go to waste. I've also been using the eye cream and love how it
leaves my under-eye area feeling super hydrated and smooth whilst being lightweight.

I am so fortunate to be in a position where I get sent products like this, especially since I love
skincare. If I try a product that I don't like or get on with then I give it to a family or friend member,
if it's unopened I donate them or do giveaways over on my Instagram. Nothing goes to waste. Thank
you to all the brands featured in the post and I can't wait to try more from you in the future.

xoxo
