What I want to read throughout June

Lately I've become quite obsessed with books, and not just buying them and letting them sit on my
shelf this time. I set myself a goal of reading 26 books this year and I'm currently on target! Although
I love planning, my mood and the time of year affects my choice in book. However I like to get an
idea of a few books that I'd like to read throughout the upcoming month.

Although my goal is 26 books for the year (working out at 1 book every other week), I seem to be
in the reading kick lately, which is why this months TBR (to be read), is bigger than normal.

My number 1 book of the month is Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins. This is the
third and final book in a trilogy and I've put of reading it for so long, I decided it's about time. A book
that everyone has raved about is Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman. I've heard
nothing but good reviews about this book, and after buying both the book and audiobook I thought it
was my time to give it a go! This is the book I'm most looking forward to reading.

One of my latest additions to my book shelf is Turtles All the Way Down by John Green. I picked
this up as soon as it came out, but repurchased it in paperback form (my favourite type). This book
is based around mental health, which is the main reason that I want to read this, as well as loving
John Green's style of writing.

Often I find myself adding a book to my TBR that is slightly unrealistic. Not in the sense that I won't
ever read it but, a book that is heavy going and hard to get into. Ever since watching Gossip Girl I've
wanted to read The Beautiful and The Damned by F.Scott Fitzgerald. I even ordered the exact cover
from the show. I'm not sure if I'll get round to reading it this month, or even in the next few months,
but I'm adding it to my list nevertheless.

What is the next book you're going to read?

xoxo

  6. Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine is a great read, I hope you enjoy it. I set my target on Goodreads to 10 this year, it's quite low but my life is extremely busy with work and other things, however I am so pleased to have reached that goal mid way through the year so i am going to try and aim for 20.
