Over the last 12-18 months MAC have been collaborating with many influencers such as; Patrick
Star to create and entire collaboration, Fleur de Force for a lipstick and now Patricia Bright for a
lipstick of her own. Patricia made her announcement with an incredible boss women photo over
on her Instagram. I quickly marked my calendar and set a reminder in my phone and managed to
pick it up when it launched 2 weeks ago.
These photos are not mine
Patricia designed this as a classic medium-dark warm brown lipstick with a slight red undertone to
it, which she describes this as a universal brown shade that suits and compliments all skin tones. On medium to dark skin tones, this will be a more natural nude shade. However on light-medium skin tones this will be a dark nude that stands out more that I class as a night time lipstick.
I have been loving wearing this since I got it, and my favourite part is so easy it is to apply whilst
also complimenting any look. I love to tap this onto the centre of the lips and blend out for a more natural look. This is a buildable lipstick that can be worn sheered down for a more natural day time look or worn for a night time look with a few layers built up. As this is a medium-dark brown and quite dramatic this will look incredible during the autumn winter time, to match the rust and Burgundy tones for the season.
This is a matte finish which means it's long-lasting but also has a creamy feel to it which allows
it to sit comfortably on the lips throughout the day without feeling drying. This is currently
available for £17.50 on the MAC website, however I do believe that this is limited edition like
other influencer lipsticks, so make sure to pick it up now.
