Tanya Burr is a person whom I love and so is her cosmetic line. I have done several reviews on her products so I knew that when I finally managed to purchase the midnight eye palette I would have to do the same, as you guys seem to love them just as much as I do. There is still quite a few products I want to try out of hers including the Autumn Collection. As I have all of the other eye shadow palettes that Tanya released I thought it was only right to purchase her latest smokey palette.
Not only does Tanya Burr cosmetics come out beautiful palettes with a range of gorgeous colours but they are also super pigmented. This palette in particular is more smokey than the others, which is easier to create smoldering eye looks. This palette contains 4 shadows in a magnetic square compact which can be carried in your bag for touch ups on a night out or when travelling on holiday.
The first shade is a light iridescent champagne shade that can be used as a brow bone and inner corner highlight or as a lid shade for some extra defintion and shine to the lids. The main focus of this palette is a light sky blue shade which has little pay back but is very effective and can be transitioned from day to night time for the perfect look. There are 2 darker shades which can be used to add more shape to the eye and pull the overall look together. This includes a navy shade with a slight sheen as well as a matte black.
My favourite thing about these shadows is their velvet and creamy texture. This then helps the shadows apply beautiful and smoothly to the lids without loosing the pigmentation, but this also means that you can get some fall out because they are too smooth. To avoid fall out, these are best used on top of a primer or cream shadow to help them last longer.
This palette is perfect to achieve a smokey and smouldering eye look that is great for any night time look. You can find this at Superdrug or on the Feel Unique website for £5.99.
