Essence lip liners are my favourite lip liners that I own, they are super creamy, pigmented and
are only £1. I thought as I own all the ones that are available near me, I would share
my top 4 and also my thoughts on the transparent lip liner.
This one is in shade 05 soft berry, which is a beautiful purple colour. This is the perfect
colour without being too light or too dark. As this is a purple berry
colour it would look great with a more full coverage, natural eye look in the autumn.
This is by far my favourite colour out of them all. This is in the shade 11 in the nude, which
is a perfect brown tone nude. This is a great dupe and pair for Velvet Teddy by Mac,
which can be worn alone and or underneath a lipstick.
This lip liner is in the shade 15 honey berry which is a dark pink colour. This would
look great in the spring and summer with a natural look, but also
in the autumn as it is a darker pink rather than a bright fuchsia pink.
This is in shade 06 satin mauve which is an in between shade of in the nude and soft berry.
This is great for an everyday look, but can also be worn for a more dramatic
night time look.
I have never used a transparent/clear lip liner and I wasn't sure how to use
this at first when I purchased it. This is supposed to be used under lipsticks that you
don't have an exact shade lip liner for. I like to use this after my lipstick to correct the
outline of my lips without using concealer which I find can be quite cakey
and fake looking, when this is a simple way to clean up any mistakes.
