Checkered Statement Skirt

For a long time the only thing that I would wear was white t-shirts and leggings,

but I have slowly but surely started broadening my style. However

I still don't like wearing much colour.

This black, white and grey gingham a-line skirt is from New Look and was purchased for £17.99.

As this is a monochrome print this is quite easy to pair and to style with a variety 

of pieces. I paired this with a black high necked ribbed 1/4 length sleeved crop top from 

River Island for £12. I also paired it with a pair of 15 denier black tights.

This can be styled up and down, to look dressy and classy or casual. 

I would also pair this with a long black trench coat and some black ankle boots. 

For accessories I think silver would look best to tie together the grey in the skirt. To add

a bit of colour a tartan scarf would be nice to add for more warmth and to also 

add a contrast with the print of the scarf and the skirt.
