February Favourites

The majority of the things that I have been loving this month are the same as last month,
but there are a few that are different that I wanted to share with you all.

My first favourite this month is the MAC studio fix fluid foundation. One of last weeks post was a first impression of this foundation which you can check out here. I have used this a few more times since then and I absolutely love everything about it. Another one of my favorites is also from MAC and it is the matte velvet teddy lipstick. I love everything 90's inspired; the hair, makeup, fashion all of it so when this lipstick was bought to my attention I knew I had to have it but as it was so popular because Kylie Jenner wore it, it was super hard to get hold of. It was eventually in stock online so I ordered it and I love it entirely. It is a matte finish which means that it is super long lasting, the colour is a light brown/dark nude and looks great with everything and it would also suit every skin tone.

I finally purchased the Real Techniques miracle complexion sponge and this is so much better than the last makeup sponge that I was using. Previously I was using the beauty blender dupe sponge from Wilkos for £3. This sponge has a flat side which is great for foundation application, it has a pointed end which is great for getting in the corner of your nose or underneath your eyes and it is also rounded all around which is great for giving your face the airbrushed look.

These slip on black faux snakeskin shoes with white souls from Topshop are what I've been wearing all month. They go with every outfit and dress the outfit up a lot more than if you just wore a pair of black shoes. They are super comfortable to wear once broken in and the snakeskin print doesn't look to overwhelming or intense and it doesn't distract away from the rest of the outfit.

My last favourite for February has been this outfit. I always wear black but I am trying to slowly get away from that and wear more colour. The cropped baby blue jumper is from H&M and it is super soft and although it is quite thin it keeps you super warm. The black skinny jeans are the tube pants from River Island and the shoes are the black and white checked slip on shoes from Topshop. This has been a favourite just because it looks like I've put in a little bit of effort, whilst keeping me comfortable and not putting in any effort.
