Products for Tarte newbies | Gifted

Before this year I'd never really tried Tarte before and now it's one of my favourite brands. I'm very 

thankful that this is because they've been extremely generous in sending out PR. I have tried out so many 

different products from the famous shape tape concealer and amazonian clay blushers to new ranges and 

beautiful eyeshadow palettes. As someone who is still quite new to Tarte, I love seeing what other people's 

favourites are and what they recommended, so I wanted to share my top 5 products for Tarte newbies.

SHAPE TAPE CONCEALER*

There's a reason this is labelled as America's number one concealer. With full coverage and 16 

hour wear it leaves your skin looking flawless, whilst brightening and smoothing without caking or 

settling into any fine lines. This contains shea butter, mango butter and licorice root to help with the 

skins elasticity, brighten, condition and moisturise. The hydration and creaminess of this concealer 

makes wearing it all day, seem like you're wearing nothing. For £24 this a more 'luxury' concealer 

compared to other brands, but it is definitely worth it.

AMAZONIAN CLAY BLUSH*

These blushers have been raved about for as long as I can remember and I'd love to have an entire 

collection of these one day! Each blush is super soft and silky which glides effortlessly onto the 

cheeks giving a healthy and youthful flush of colour. They are easily buildable to help you get the 

desired level of pigment without being chalky or having any harsh lines. They currently have 17 

shades available to choose from making it easy to find the perfect blush shade for you.

BREEZY CREAM BRONZER*

I never thought that I would be recommending a cream cheek product but especially a cream 

bronzer. This waterproof buildable bronzer has a velvety cream formula to apply easily to the face 

whilst going on smoothly for a blendable look. This contains sodium hyaluronate and hyaluronic 

acid to intensely hydrate the skin, before drying down to a natural matte finish. The reason I love 

this so much is because it applies so evenly without lifting up or dragging any of my base makeup, 

it doesn't make me look muddy or cakey and it stays put all day long without any touch ups. 

TARTLETTE AMAZONIAN CLAY MATTE PALETTE*

Everybody needs that perfect company neutral palette that they can just grab and go with, and this is 

exactly that. This palette contains 12 cool toned matte eyeshadows that are enriched with amazonian 

clay, vitamin e and mineral pigments, to help achieve a better and longer wear, whilst working as an 

antioxidant and softening the skin on the eye lids. Each row is arranged in coordinating shades to 

help you create 3 stunning looks. These suit any and all skin tones, blend out effortlessly whilst still 

holding their pigment and can easily be transformed from a day to night look. 

LIGHTS CAMERA LASHES MASCARA*

Highend mascaras are something I never understood the hype around until I tried this. This is 

described as a push up bra for your lashes, with 4-in-1 technology to give volume, length and curl 

all whilst conditioning the lashes. This has a 360° wand containing short and long bristles to help 

reach the smallest and most stubborn lashes. It's been proven that 17% of lashes appear longer and 

delivers a 35% increase in curl, whilst being 24hr wear, flake free and smudge proof.
