Go to feel good movies

When it comes to relaxing, I am definitely one who struggles to find ways to relax without getting
stressed. I love planning, organising and writing but can often get worked up when things don't go
the way I imagined. Even though it's so simple, I always forget to watch films unless I write it down
and make time for it. Sometimes we forget about the basic and simple tasks because we are too busy
overthinking everything. There are a lot of times when I want a good cry and put on a sad film, but
the majority of the time I want a feel good movie. Since I love finding new films and hearing other
peoples recommendations, I wanted to share mine with you to get some inspiration and help you take
some time to yourself and relax like we all need to.

Most women will admit to wanting their life exactly or somewhat like Sex and the City. Personally I
wish I was Carrie. Living in a dream apartment, in New York getting to write for a living, marrying
the love of your life and having the best friends a women could ask for all whilst having a closet to
die for. I love the first film more than the second, mainly because I love how they all bond again on
what would have been Carrie's honeymoon, but also because she rediscovers herself as a single lady.

I've watched Bridget Jones Diary so many times I've lost count. We can all relate to Bridget in some
way. Whether it's her love life, fashion sense, inability to be social or her giant underwear. It's very
rare that films are on the more realistic side, which is why I believe this is such a big hit. Another one
of my favourite films of all time is The Devil wears Prada. Something about a powerful independent
women played by Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and a film about fashion is my dream come true.

A classic rom-com that everyone should watch at some point is Legally Blonde. If you are single
and struggling to find yourself again or are fed up of being told that you can't achieve something
without a man then this will become your go-to. Everytime I can't decide on a film to watch, Liam
always suggests watching this because of how much I love it. I've never heard a bad thing said
about this, because it truly is a feel good film amongst thousands of people.

When I want a love story with a happily ever after I either choose to watch Bride Wars or
Cinderella Story. I've never found a film quiet like Bride Wars before. I love everything about
weddings, marriages and love so having a film with all 3 in is perfect. Everybody loves a classic
fairytale, but something about it being recreated and having a modern twist, somehow makes it more
realistic and as if you could actually find a famous or rich man and make him fall in love with you!!

  8. This is so funny, I just clicked on your post to read it as I am having a morning catch up from the Twitter group. I watched the Sex and the City film yesterday after feeling like I needed a wind down and chill out. I love that movie!
