Winter/Christmas Day makeup routine

Christmas is my favourite time of year, and doing my makeup is my favourite hobby. So combining
the 2 together makes me so beyond excited. I tend to go more full coverage, bold and glam when
it comes to winter and Christmas makeup, and this year is no exception! I love showing you what
my looks for specific times of the year are, because makeup trends are always changing and it'll be
really cool to look back on years later and see what looks we used to wear.

FACE
Barry M unicorn primer drops
BH Cosmetics liquid flawless foundation
MUA full cover pro base concealer
Collection lasting perfection concealer
Ben Nye translucent setting powder
MUA pro base fixing spray

During the winter and colder months I love to have a completely flawless base, but without looking
or feeling cakey. I use a hydrating primer to make sure my skin is still getting nourished, whilst
also prepping my skin for my foundation. I always use a full coverage foundation and concealer
to get that flawless base I want, as well as setting it in place with a translucent powder to avoid
creasing. To make sure it stays in place all day I use a setting spray to lock it in!

CHEEKS

I always make sure to set my face, not only to make my base last longer but also because despite
having more normal to dry skin my base always fades and moves throughout the day if I don't set. No
matter what time of year it is I will always use a bronzer to make me look like I've been on holiday,
along with contour my cheeks to give met that chiseled look. I top it off with a blush and then add on
a blinding highlight - or in this case 2 highlighters, because why not, it is Christmas after all!

EYES

If you can't go all out for your eye look at Christmas, then when can you, ay? This year I've been
loving using the Jaclyn Hill vault collection to create a red/purple toned eye look that is perfect for
this time of the year. To make it even more festive I've been using a pink glitter liquid eyeshadow to
create a cut crease on the inner corner of my eye for an even more glam look. I top it off with a coat
of mascara and I make sure to fill in my brows for a bold and defined look.

LIPS
Maybelline lipstick - baddest beige
Pixi lip lift max - honey sheen

To top of the whole look, I use a classic nude lipstick and a sheer gloss. Once I've finished
I use the setting spray again to make sure that my makeup it locked in for the rest of the day,
since I want to make sure I look my best, especially on Christmas Day!

Merry Christmas. May you're highlight be glowing
and your eyeshadow be blended!

xoxo
