The foundation that broke the internet - Revolution conceal and define

I've been a huge lover of makeup and all thins beauty for around 8-9 years now, and in all the this time I have never known a drugstore brand have such a huge launch coming up that it broke the
internet - well, their entire website. It just so happens to be the brand that seems to be having
launches every few weeks - Revolution.

Their latest release has been a long time coming and has been anticipated since the conceal and
define concealer launched in January. This foundation was announced August 28th and launched
8 days later. In the time between the announcement and it being launched, the internet went mad. Bloggers and influencers did their reviews whilst the rest of us sat at home patiently waiting. Alongside the launch of the foundation, they also launched a new supersize of the ever so famous conceal and define concealer, since people wanted more. The supersize now has 3 times the amount of the original concealer for only £3 more.

The foundation packaging is the exact same as the concealer just a giant version. It has a frosted glass bottle, iridescent rose coating and a huge doe foot applicator. Some people are slightly uncomfortable with the applicator as they are worried about the bacteria gong on your face and back into the bottle, however that's how you use a concealer so I think it's simple to use and any excess avoids wastage.

This claims to be lightweight yet buildable with medium to full coverage and gives that 'real skin' finish. This has a demi-matte finish that helps avoid the foundation settling into fine lines and clinging to any dry patches. I picked up the shade F0.5 since I am very fair, however I also picked up the shades F2 and F3 afterwards since the shade F0.5 was extremely fair on my skin. I also want to pick up the shade F1 when it comes back into stock on the Superdrug or Revolution website.

On the day that I tried this out, I had a panic attack and found myself crying. After I calmed down and looked in the mirror I was shocked to find that my foundation looked flawless, and had no tear streaks down my face, which has never happened with a foundation that I've tried before.
