What I wish I knew about high school

High school, you either love it or hate it. Me personally I hated it. I didn't get on with the
people I went to school with, I felt alone and didn't enjoy the environment. I think my main
reason for this was my anxiety but also because you go into high school with all these expectations and things to be scared of. I remember all the rumours that went around about what happens
in high school and what people do to you, which made the start of my high school experience
worse. There are thousands of things that I wish I knew about high school beforehand, but I
have chose 10 to share with you that I think will help.

1. Don't listen to the rumour about getting your head put a the toilet
2. You don't have to go out drinking, smoking or doing drugs
3. Study for your GCSE's ... it makes a difference
4. Being popular means nothing
5. It's really not worth stressing about
6. Stick up for who and what you believe in
7. Nobody cares what you look like
8. Don't judge people. You don't know their story
9. Bullies have their own problems too
10. High school might be the best or worse times of your life

What is 1 thing you wish you knew about high school?
